Definitely worth buying, especially when its on sale for two bucks.

As TB said, this is DEFINITELY a fun dinosaur game, something rarely seen on Steam even with TSL, Orion, PCE. Gameplay is fast-paced, balanced (compared to others), and worth every cent I paid. Enjoyed every single hour I played, etc, etc. Though, prepare yourself to get a bit frustrated with a lack of servers (especially foreigners!) and a WHOLE LOTTA roleplayers.

The thing is...

In order to be completely happy with this game, you have to be OK with getting NO updates whatsoever. If you aren't familiar with the series, the Primal Carnage developers LukeWarm Media changed a while back to Circle 5 developing a new game called Primal Carnage : Extinction. Originally developed to be a big update for this game, PCE was released as a new game. That means aren't going to be making updates for this game.

OVERALL, I give this game 9/10. If you're debating on whether you should buy the newer sequel, PCE, which still gets updates, patches, and most important of all HATS!!!! over this game, I HIGHLY suggest you either WAIT for PCE to get good or buy Primal Carnage.
