why can't codemasters ever get the netcode right in the f1 games? i regularly play automobilista 2, acc and le mans ultimate, all developed by studios with a much smaller budget, and i never experience the kind of completely scuffed online experience that i do in the f1 games.

the online gameplay feels so bad, the only way i can describe it is that other players' cars just behave in an erratic and unpredictable way (completely differently than offline). cars rubberbanding and teleporting around-- one second someone is to the left of you and the next second they're clipping inside of you. someone ahead of you will be driving normally one second, then all of a sudden they'll teleport 100 yards forwards, it's completely unexplainable.

completely unplayable/unenjoyable online mode. i guess if you want to see clips of f1 the movie or play the story mode maybe it's worth it? i dunno.

Predatory pricing that will most likely continue for the foreseeable future. You can't even compete in the daily races if you just buy the base game-- which means if you buy the base game with no DLC, you just have to play against AI. By the way, you cannot race Hypercars unless you grind a ton of safety rating-- could be weeks or months of grinding before you get to driver Hypercars online.

All of your safety rating can be undone by a bad race or two, or someone intentionally ramming you-- the game doesn't care whose fault it is, you will lose rating if someone collides into you, undoing hours of work in an instant.

game is funny because the crash physics are awesome and u can ram into people and watch their car explode into a million pieces in public lobbies

Horrible game that plays like a unity tutorial. Dont be fooled by the astroturfed positive reviews, this is some kid's college game dev final project.

One of the absolute worst games I have ever played in my life. Its just bad. Tons of bugs (theres literally menu screen bugs-- thats a first for me), a million loading screens, repetitive/generic announcer, boring gameplay. It's completely unoptimized, I crash at every other loading screen, sometimes the game is extremely choppy. Not to mention the online mode is complete garbage-- why would you split the queue up by weight class? This was never going to be a game where there are millions of simultaneous players, so splitting online into 8 different queues makes it so that the queue times are astronomical. Its nonsensical. For any other weight class besides heavyweight, you might as well just step away for lunch because you're not going to get a match for literally 30 minutes.

You can be losing a fight and getting your s h i t pushed in for 5 rounds straight, but you're just a jab or two away from a random flash knockout so don't worry. Yes, one punch can change any fight in real life, but it's completely ridiculous in this game. Everyone online is using Muhammad Ali, Deontay Wilder, Canelo Alvarez or RJJ-- why even include all these other no name cans?

Tons of loading screens. It's just bad. Don't bother, if you're a fan of EA Fight Night, just play that every now and then because this is not the successor to the throne. Waste of money.

half finished physics demo that somehow gets worse with each new patch. hardflip animation looks like u just ♥♥♥♥ ur pants, no grabs, transition is full of glitches, grind animations all look horrible. but hey u can play as a teenage mutant ninja turtle guys so its all good!!
