Surpasses the first one. It's a fun metroidvania, with good combat, humour and challenging platforming.

+ Keeping the same formula from the first game but adding more stuff
+ Various costumes(characters) with different attributes
+ Pollo Power (chicken transformation) is now much more usable and fun
+ Plenty of references from various movies/games, like screens or mini-games with elements taken from Mario and Street Fighter for example

- No workshop integration like the first game
- Some abilities/costumes can be very overpowereds

I did everything on one playthrough.
There is plenty of achievements with specific challenges and others related to doing everything on the game.
Both DLC are required and there are no missables (besides beating the game on Hard difficulty). Hard Mode can unlocked by beating the game or by doing the Konami Code at the title screen.

It's not a very demanding game. I haven't experienced any slowdown!

Truly a masterpiece!
This is such a great game in every aspect and with lots of contents considering the low price.

A solid sequel, maintaing the usual quality from the series (not counting Trine 3). Some new upgrades/mechanics and lots of puzzles. My favourite still is Trine 2, but a good game overall.
The expansion/DLC (Melody of Mystery) is good too. It adds a few extra levels with more of the same formula, but it's also cheap.
Can't tell about the multiplayer experience because I've played alone.

+ Very gorgeous 2.5D graphics
+ Really nice soundtrack (both main game and DLC)
+ A few new mechanics and lots of puzzles to make use of it.
+ Level select with checkpoints system that makes easy to collect everything

- Terrible combat, with repetitive and messy regular fights.
- Story is pretty average. Nothing special.

No specific challenges here. If you are playing and also collecting everything, you will also get 100% of the achievements when you are done. No achievements related to the DLC

The game runs pretty well with no slowdowns. I have a i7 7700k / 5700XT and the game did fine between 100~150fps with everything at the highest settings. But just to mention that the game crashed once the first time I played.
Despite it's a platformer, I played using mouse/keyboard and recommend it. It's so much easier to aim and control objects.

A fun and simple platformer. Don't mind the simple graphics without colors. If you are looking for a simple and short metroidvania, you will do just fine. And having some laughs along the way.

- Could have some multicoloured pallete to choose from
- Sometimes is hard to distinguish some enemies in the middle of the scenario
- After you beat the game, your save slot becomes useless (unless you do some save editing)

Solid set of achievements. I've completed everything doing 2 full playthoughs and a third one playing just a small part.
Besides the story related ones, there are some related to completionism, speedrunning, beating the game with restrictions and even one envolving a sequence break. The game tells you about a point of no return near the ending.
The hardest one would the speedrun one. You will need to have a good knowledge of the map and objetives, or will be very tight.

- Some rooms has similar design
- Could have more side-quests

Pretty straightforward, nothing too hard. Most are related to progression and completionism.
Quick roadmap:

• Hard mode getting everything
  
• Easy mode + Mortal ON + Warrior class

Missables:

• 2 Journals entries at the beginning
  
• Beat one of the bosses without taking damage

Metroidvania of the Year! Igavania in all its glory. Plenty of content/replayability.

One of the best fighting games from the last few years! Playing competitivily or casual, it's just really fun.
Even if you are not a fan of the Dragon Ball series, it's a game worth checking out. And even if you are not a fan of fighting games, it's easy to play, specially with the auto-combo mechanics

If you are a fan of the Dragon Ball series, you will love the art style and will appreciate the dedication for all the details they put into the game

Exceptional hand drawn animation along with some good soundtrack that makes a tribute to 1930s cartoon style. Challenging yet quite fun.
The DLC holds up the game quality while adding new content.
