Quick thoughts on 35 minutes of Silent Souls f gameplay

Creepy? Absolutely. Confusing? Of course. But hey, now you can Perfect Dodge like you're in a horror version of Dark Souls if your timing is good enough not to panic and faceplant into a ghost.

And stamina bar is back, so don’t expect to sprint forever. Panic-running is real…

You sneak through the jungle, eat snakes, patch yourself up, and try not to get spotted because you stepped on a twig. The stealth is fun, the survival system is cool, and the graphics look amazing.

Camouflage system is wild, 90% hidden in grass, but somehow still spotted because a guard had main character vision.
And yes, you will spend minutes matching camouflage and face paint with surroundings. It’s part of the experience.

If you're new to Metal Gear, don’t worry it’s still fun and easy to get into.

Just a heads up:
Locked at 60 FPS
No fullscreen for 21:9 ultrawide, only windowed
Edited: but there is a mod to bypass 60 FPS limit and let you play in 21:9

Final Thoughts
10/10 Would eat a snake and crawl into a swamp again.

This game is basically "What if Demon Slayer let you play the anime and look cool while mashing buttons?"

What I love:
The fights look amazing. Every move feels like the anime.
You can play as so many cool characters, including the Hashira.
New team ultimates = double the chaos, double the fun.
Story mode brings back all the good memories and hype moments.

10/10. Looks amazing, feels amazing, and even when I lose, I feel like the main character.

You’re two authors stuck in your own story, switching between dragons and lasers, fantasy and sci-fi and somehow a dance battle.
I don’t know who wrote this plot, but they need a raise.

Overall this game is:
50% puzzles
50% chaos
100% blaming your friend for things you also did wrong

Final Thoughts: 10/10 Saved the universe. Still blaming each other.

Bought the game to feel like Spider-Man.
Now I judge buildings in real life by how swingable they are.

Side quests that actually make you say “okay one more… oh look it’s 3AM.”

10/10. Buy the game. Swing responsibly

For a former monster hunter world player, this game feel more simplified and fast paced. I love the addition of palamutes and teleport

I really recommend for those who are new to monster hunters.
