Worth it for $15 on sale but wouldn't pay much more. Cheaters every other game and the PC bs.

I have played this game since the beta and have recently moved to the steam version. If anyone wants to do the same all of your progress will be transferred. Just sign in to your Microsoft account once and you're good to go. The story is decent but that's not what I play for. I play for the ship combat (which is great), player interactions, and of course the abundance of loot and progression. You might be disappointed that the only rewards are cosmetics but I think they do it in a way that makes you feel a sense of completion. If you just want to enjoy some ship combat and competition you can play the arena mode but I think that can get boring quick. Rare adds new content and patches pretty often if you ever want a reason to come back to the game.

If you like RTS games you probably won't be disappointed by this game. The learning curve is not too steep. The research is thorough but not overwhelming. And if you want more there are some pretty great mods you can download although not on the steam workshop which can be a minor annoyance.

One of the best remakes I have ever played. A lot is left from the original game but with plenty of new content. I am very impressed at how they were able to make the game look so good and perform so well at the same time.

Very fun but lacks the historical aspect that makes other paradox grand strategy games great.

Great game with a lot of potential but still has many minor bugs and a very slow development cycle.

Very fun game but can take a while to learn if you're new to paradox games.
