One of the best "Survival" colony sims, it's challenging and thereby very rewarding to get good at. There is lots of interaction and very impactful choices to make. There is not so much direct Threats but the indirect ones are plenty. Very much enjoy the setting.

If I was to make a survival game, I would probably copy 80% of the Pacing, Crafting, and design from this game.

This game has around twice the content of the previous game, for a very similar price.

The Combat is better than KCD1
The World and Caves/Tunnels are way more significant than KCD1
The Music is Excellent
The Game Performance/Optimisation is better than KCD1
There are More Quests and it's Rewarding to explore the World on your own.

The Dialogue could be a bit more.

In Short the game Scope is significantly larger. My first KCD1 playthrough lasted 60 hrs, my first KCD2 Playthroug 115 hrs, with sidequests and world left to explore. This game is a Great start to 2025. Can't wait for the DLC and Hardcore mode.

A game with plenty of potential. Very fun at the moment and promising interaction with the developers

This is massively modernized Mount and blade warband. You have much more customisation for your castle and town, the game can handle way larger battles and control over armies and parties especially in your clan is far more intuitive.

oh also they patch the game every day.

this is the perfect continuation and improvement of Age of Empires 2, may the game last us another 20 years

This is arealy amazing fast paced hack 'n slash medival game...I LOVE IT. Vanguard is amazing but classes are balanced.
