An absolutely astonishing story and puzzle game!

Based on 90s CD-Rom point n click games, this is absolutely beautiful and you can see the passion the creators had in this!

The artwork for the characters is amazing, the writing is perfect and the voice acting is spot-on.

The puzzles in the game are ingenious and a little, tricky but the "Ah-ha" moment is perfect.

The story is amazing, I honestly clutched my chest at times due to how cute the characters are, loving and fearing for these folks I have known for less than 45 minutes.

My only complaint about the game is there's not a whole load of clickable elements like you'd find in other CD-ROM point n click games of the era, but that's a small issue that I can live with.

I would love to see some continuation of this, be it a comic or another game with these characters.

If you like visual novels but want something with more puzzle elements, you like fatfurs and are nostalgic for 90s point n click games, I would highly recommend giving this a shot!

I loved Playstation Home from back in the day. Everything from the condo and the worlds you can visit within the game. I remember the fun of decorating my own place, making my avatar, playing the games within the worlds like that one pirate ship game and visiting the worlds of my favourite games, as well as visiting the amazing original places they made.

This game is nothing like that. The only similarities are the fact you can make an avatar and go bowling in an MMO world. As other reviews have mentioned, there are no graphic update settings, and the last update being from September 2019 (at the time of writing, it is March 2020) should be enough evidence that they do not like keeping in contact with their community, which is vital for a game that is literally based around socialisation.

I would much rather recommend you to play Tower Unite. Granted, it's more like GM Tower from Garrys Mod than Playstation Home, but it is in a more complete state than this game, the developers care about it and keep their community informed about what they're working on via their weekly blogs and trello page, they have added all features necessary for a basic game on PC in this era of games like Graphic Settings and have even got Workshop support to allow the players to create their own items/models. Granted, it's not free like Atom Universe or Playstation Home, but there are no micro-transactions like in both of those games.

Go play Tower Unite, you will not regret it.

Early Access Review
This is honestly worth more than the £11 it's listed at. The game has a very active community on discord and on the Pixeltail forums, being incredibly clear about what they're working on (as of writing this, they're working on the Arcade, which I hope will be finished soon) and make it clear about what they're working on while not revealing content yet to be announced.

The mini games within this game are really fun to play and incentivize the players to play with others as that way they'll earn more money in certain games like Virus and Ball Race. While it is possible to earn more money in games like Wheel of Money and Grand Quest etc than in minigames, it's incredibly grind-y which I personally find to be boring and too long.

The condo part of this game is really enjoyable and I spent hours upon hours decorating my condos, and with the addition of features like Animated Canvases and Workshop items can really help my condo be exactly how I want it to be.

I seriously recommend supporting this game and try it out for yourselves. If you loved GM tower, you would love this, no doubt.

A simple drifting game. Its minimalistic approach is relaxing. The only issues I've had with the game are that the camera sometimes makes me unsure if I'm going to crash into something since I can't see where the barrier is at some points and the cars feel slow but I imagine they're slow so it's easier to drift. Any faster and they'd be nearly uncontrollable.

While there are leaderboards, I would like to see some kind multiplayer. I'd get this game during the sale as it's a bargain for what you get.

Hover has a certain aesthetic that makes it memorable to people who play it, but other than that, along with a few songs and the satisfying yet tricky movement mechanics, thats all it really has.

Gameplay: The gameplay is fun, if a bit unfair. The gameplay is similar to that of Jet Set Radio, using parkour based mechanics. When you start off, your character is unbearably slow, which means that getting straight into a multiplayer match is instantly a bad idea, unless you want to lose a lot or think you are insanely lucky. The way you improve your character is flawed too. You upgrade your character by installing "Chips" which improve certain aspects, like running speed, jump heigh and sliding speed. There is a problem to this. It's entirely random. If you want to improve your characters running speed? You need to farm it to find it, and when you do eventually get one, you need to hope it's of a good quality otherwise it's practically worthless. You need the best chips to stand a tiny chance in a multiplayer match. On the plus side, the movement is very good. Grinding and wall sliding is very satisfying when you just smoothly flow into it. (Hint: The game never teaches you this, but hold shift while on a wall to wall slide.). As you run, jump and slide, you get Energy which can put you into hoverheat mode, boosting all of your stats like speed, sliding and jumping. This encourages the player to be more tricky in their path so they can be faster. Along with the movement mechanics, the game has various mission types, such as racing, Team racing, gameball and gameball race. Gamebal is essentially basketball, but with no dribbling and tackling is allowed. THis mode is frantic, but can be frustrating to play against more experienced players, giving you no chance to win against them except either grind for more chips or git gud. Overall, the gameplay gets a 5/10 from me. If it had a system like levelling up in the tony hawk games, I'd give it a higher score.

Story: The premise of the story is basically a dictator called "The Great Admin" has banned all Fun things, like games. Your character is a clone and joins this rebellion to fight back and the plot writes itself from there. The (not secret) ending has a twist but it's super quick and sudden, but just made me groan at how I had to do it all over again. At that point, I didn't bother with the story. Alongside the main story being as interesting as a cardboard box with the word "fun" written on it, the characters, while have good designs, don't leave that much of an impact to me. Otello is the "leader" personality, a real TMNT Leonardo type. Watabax is a space rabbit who is just nervous and gets "Bullied" by the next character, greendy. I honestly can't remember anything about her, so I'm going to move on. You got a few other characters, like a yoda type old lady who is meant to be a mentor of some kind, but just comes across as just another NPC in the world. Krow is a leader of a rival faction, the breakers. He is the whole "Strong but not smart" type. He just seems to be brute strength and thats all. There are some other characters, but ♥♥♥♥ if I can remember them. Staying on the story, the small points are very subtle. So subtle that unless you are intentionally trying to find them, you won't come across them. For example, Otello and another character, Liff, are in a gay relationship. Does this ever come up in the events of the normal story? Nope. I only got told about this through the discord via friends there. I assumed that people just shipped them, but apparently it's canon. I'm not against it in any way and I think it's a good ship, but it could have been made a lot less subtle. They only time they talk to each other, it seems to be either talking about the situation or generally talking in a friendly manner. The story overall isn't gripping and engaging. I've gotten more involved with the story of one guy on Pointless than this. 4/10.

Music: I have high hopes for the music, especially since the guy who made the music for Jet Set Radio, Jet Set Radio future and the sonic rush games, Hideki Nagauma is in it. Unfortunately, he's only on for two songs, Heaven Uu and Never 4Ever. Both of these songs are amazing and really capture the tone of the game. it's just a shame that the music for the rest of the game is somewhat lack luster. While Cédric Menendez did capture the theme and tone for the game, the songs just don't have that same energy that Hideki has, which is a shame. I'd give the soundtrack a 6/10.

Multiplayer: The multiplayer is also problematic. First off, there isn't a formal matchmaking system that you get in racing games or FPS titles. Instead, you are free roaming in whatever area you spawned in and must either get friends online to race with or play gameball. If none of your friends has this game, you can't expect much from the multiplayer other than roam around with other people, which can get boring. As I've mentioned before, there is an official discord server you can join to talk with other fans of the game, as well as participate in meetups where we all race together, but these happen somewhat rarely and if you ask people to play in the general chat, barely anyone will respond. despite the server having almost 200 members (Devs included). If this game had a matchmaking service, this would make the game drastically better for the multiplayer side. 3/10.

Conclusion: To round this all off, while the games aesthetic style is memorable and the designs are great, the game lacks any real reason to get involved. The levelling up, the multiplayer and the story all contribute to me having to say no to this game. If you really want it, get it on at least a half price sale. 4.5/10.

The Crew 2 has potential to be great, but misses out on three essential parts that I personally liked in the first game.

Firstly, there is no PVP lobby or any way to play competitively against human players besides setting records. There is no PVP option when starting an event, even if you complete it the first time on single player.

Secondly, while you are able to put yourself in a crew, I've not seen any instance of it being useful besides crew members now having a blue blip on the minimap rather than white. Ironically, the crew aspect is seeming to be the least useful.

Third and finally, fast travelling. Within the last game, you are able to instantly teleport to places you've already driven to, be it in a race or free roaming. I love the ski jump, Teleporting to the top of the slope and then jumping down it. Now you gotta pray that you'll spawn at the bottom of the ramp when there is a highlight you can use or take a drive up which is awkward.

Onto the good parts: The driving is pretty nice. It feels a lot more grippy than the first game and less floaty. Jumps feel heavier too, although perhaps a bit too heavy for my liking. All the car types handle very differently. The street cars are somewhat nimble, but aren't as drifty as the street cars from the first game which I used to enjoy. Off road cars are pretty nice to handle, they got a decent balance of drift and grip on different surfaces.
The air vehicles handle pretty nice. Not really anything to go on about.
The boats are both the best and worst thing. On the one hand, I like the boat races and the creativity of the courses, but on the other hand, the feeling of almost always trimming back for extra speed really hurts the thumb when using a controller.

I really enjoy the addition of Air and Sea Vehicles, although it's never explained how you are able to change from a speed boat into a plane with no explanation. Then again, this game has about as much story as a dictionary, so don't expect any deep characters but there are some decent characters, like Tuck (Offroad champion) and Sofia (Freestyle champion). These two characters are the only good story parts of the game.
They don't see the player as a threat to their title, just another person who loves racing just as much as them. Hiro (Your partner in your career) is annoying as well as the Commentator in the LIVE extrem races (I did not mispell extreme, it's really spelt like that.) who has more cheesiness to them than a block of mature cheddar.
The other two champions For street racing and Pro racing are your typical egocentric racing bad guy. You can literally replace them with Chick Hicks from cars and there'll be no difference.

As of now, I'd say that this game is best gotten on a very deep sale, about 25 quid or so sounds somewhat fair, unless ubisoft change the game for the better, at which case I'd say a mild sale is fine.

its meant to be a creative game due to its lego like nature, but it just fails to beat games like minecraft where its a block world and 'infinite' possibilties, im not critiscising minecraft bty. anyway, in the trailer as shown on the store page, in the seconds 0:44, 0:48, 0:50, 0:52, 0:55 1:01 to 1:17, 1:19, 1:26, 1:29, 1:32, 1:36 to 1:44, 2:02, 2:03 and i would go on but i just cannot be botherd, but you get the point that some stuff in the trailer is NOT in the game unless you download from a website which i dont know the u.r.l of. so if your familiar with mods then this game will be a blast. (although i havent installed any add ons)
