The truth of what PGI and WSS discussed will never be fully known. But it should be noted that MWLL absolutely had its development shuttered shortly after MWO became a thing; and its not hard to imagine there wasn't at least some manner of thinly veiled threats of legal action. Else WSS could've simply pointed to the existing non-commercial license and said development will continue, deal with it. Likewise there's a reason the current small group of dev's purposely made themselves fairly decentralized hard to really track down and contact in the event PGI decided to come knocking again. But hey, I'm just it was out of the kindness of their heart that WSS decided that the world didn't need two different MW titles at the same time.

Nah, too long ago for me to care about hunting for a stranger. Again; if you're upset about it, post a praising review to counterweight against mine. If you want to talk about it with people, open its comments; maybe someone else will care to find it.

Show me a source then, I was unable to find one. In fact, the sources I WAS able to find show that PGI and the mod team had very friendly talks. https://www.gameskinny.com/bkcc6/death-from-above-mechwarrior-living-legends-ceases-development Find a source for your claims before making them.

Put in different terms, something can be shut down and come back later. If someone else is to blame for that shutting down, their blame doesn't evaporate when it comes back up.
