Base of the game is nice and feels good, improvements from skylines 1 are definitely there. Building roads feels nice and all but.........

Performance is abysmal at higher resolutions/settings.

The game has a ton of small things that just does not seem to work properly, plenty of people in the city but close by shops/industry just has no one to employ. Weird problems with no pedestrian access to buildings even when they are next to roads and have been just fine for longer time. Smoothing upon building things on the ground is really bad, carving ground out of the buildings way or creating land pillars to stand on. Radio has some nice tunes but the talk between the radio hosts is very repetitive... etc. etc.

And thats the small things, then there is the issue of having questionably working...or not working simulations of varying kinds in game. A lot of the simulation just does not seem to work properly.

The game definitely needed and still needs several months of polish to fix all the things.

Now i am not the biggest fan of mecha genre, but that said i had pleasant enough time with the game. 16 hours for a playthrough and i can see myself playing it atleast once more through is ok value for me.

Mechs feel nice to pilot, can't really comment much on music since none of the OST stood out for me at all, sound design is beefy enough to make firing guns feel good. Weapon variety is maybe bit same'y but that's kinda understandable it's still varied enough to try different builds and all.

Biggest draw back to the game is that the AI for the enemies is relatively simple and thus does not offer much challenge at all once you figure out what they want to do at any given moment. Enemy design is bit flat (again kinda understandable for most parts), bosses could have been bit more interesting and unique. General difficulty of the game is also not very high, and i wish there would have been meaningful difficulty settings to make the game bit tougher.

Overall its a good game and definitely worth your time & money.

Game itself is pretty nice, good atmosphere and ost that sets the mood, movement and shooting feels good and the maps are eerie in a good way, story seems interesting enough too... BUUUUT the game has serious flaws as of writing, half of the time game refuses to boot up without crashing back to desktop, lot of crashes during gameplay, some weird stuttering here and there.

It feels like its a rushed port and haven't been really tested properly, due to that i feel even though the game is really fun otherwise, i cannot recommend this until they fix the porting issues.

I like logistic chain games, but this was not to my taste. The game starts out promising but gets more tedious rather than interesting the more you play it. The chains are very short and simple and it feels more of an busy work to expand, rather than trying to build more effective chains of logistics. Things take relatively long to achieve and its not interesting to wait for things to finish at all in this game.

Story line and voice acting is ok, music is ok'ish but bit repetitive. Graphics are very mediocre but works well enough with this type of game.

Movement is pretty crispy and combat is snappy enough, bit easy if you like more challenging games. It's easy to make progress and you wont get stuck, since there is always more to explore and find out. Only "bad" thing about the game i can say is that the map is not most clear and useful in terms of marking down everything properly etc., you can miss some small bits of content if you dont pay a lot of attention or mark literally everything down (which is not necessary a problem in itself)

Music is really well made and suits the game, one of the better OST's i have heard.

For 15 buckaroos its a complete steal, it's a game that could very well justify 30-60e price tag on it. It also has several free DLC packs that gives you few hours of content on top of everything.

Definitely must buy if you like metroidvanias!
