I haven't played PoE1 so i can't compare this to it's predecessor, not that i would anyway.
I like the slower pace of this game and that it doesn't throw OP gear in my face every 5 minutes. The stuff merchants sell is actually useful and even a normal drop could be a potential upgrade, if you take the time to upgrade it. Oh, and defense and resistances are very important which makes me happy, no more do i have to focus solely on crit and crit.dmg and nothing else.

I don't enter this zoned out zombie-mode where i don't even think about what i'm doing as i do in... other ARPGs.
You can combo different spells and attacks for different effects, which is cool. You have to be aware of your surroundings or the monsters might surround you.
Oh, and the boss fights.. Man, i love it! Very well designed fights so far, i'm having so much fun!

I'm glad i bought early access even if this game will go free to play in 6 months or more. I'm happy to support GGG, this game has great potential. I mean, i already find this game amazing!

I have waited a long time for a game just like this. There is this one game that i had high hopes for, i won't mention it's name here but it's name used to be legendary, when it released it killed my love for gaming because it lacks a soul and kind of sucks but PoE2 reignited that spark, i feel that GGG knows what they are doing.

Nice game to relax to

Some people are angry that this game has no gay characters, but in fact there is one: You, the player.

No but seriously, just enjoy the game for what it is. Who cares if there is no "whamen" in the first few chapters? This game is awesome! It looks great, plays fantastic and most importantly it's fun thanks to the great combat system and interesting story.

This is a game, that is supposed to entertain and it does it's job very well! It doesn't need inclusion, diversity or equality. It's just not that type of game.

If You care about politics, look elsewhere.

Feels like a mobile game with the 100 different currencies. Oh, and it's also p2w.

Met some players after a couple of hours of game time, didn't end good for our little newbie crew. I may never meet the same crappy pirates again so i will have to exact my revenge on some other poor fool instead and take their treasures. Well, after I've learn to actually hit my targets with the cannons.

On a serious note, this game is really fun. You can play this solo if you'd like to but i don't recommend doing so, at least if you're new to this game. I can imagine it being quite difficult to maneuver the boat and fight other players/NPCs at the same time. There is so much to explore and so many crazy and stupid things to find. Having a lot of fun playing this. Now i'm off to recruit more people to our crew.

Oh, and if you hate PvP, this game is probably not for you as there is no way to play this in single-player mode.

This game is weird and awesome. I was hoping for something new when I started playing for the first time and that's exactly what this game delivers. This game screams Kojima, and as a Kojima "fängurl" I love it!

And people claiming it to be a walking simulator clearly never played the game or got past the starting area.

I never even knew I liked these kind of games, but here I am.

It's a game where you hunt monsters.

Who would've thought workout could be fun? I sure didn't, it also inspired me to go to the gym. Why? 'Cause I saw improvements in my arms and wanted to see what I could achieve with the rest. So yes, this is a good game not just because it's fun (it's really fun) but it's also good for You both physically and mentally.

There is a reason this game won VR-game of the year!

Accidentally killed myself and multiple horses by crashing into random objects and other players
Mauled by bear
Mauled by wolf
Kidnapped by other players and then killed
Got trampled to death by horses
Kicked to death by horse
Died by blindly walking off a cliff for some reason

Laughed the entire time
10/10 would recommend.
