I was lucky enough to play this game at it's peak and came across it in my steam after 9 years away, it's still so good but there's not many players. It is a game begging to be made free to play. There's nothing else like the 3v3 elite game mode (the parkour game mode is fantastic as well thanks to some very unique movement mechanics) and I would be right back into it if we could get the matchmaking servers populated again. It was a criminally underrated game on release and it's so sad to see one my favourite multiplayer games ever turned into a ghost town.

This might be the best story ever told in a video game. You know how every now and then you'll play or read or watch something and you just know it's going to stick with you long after you've finished it? This is one of those games. Play this.

God I wish I had the words to do this game justice but I don't. It's been a long time since a game was able to grab me like this, exploring the finch household made me feel like a kid I got lost in the experience just like I used to be able to with games when i was younger. It's stunning, easily my goat. Play this.

Passionless designed by committee tedium. Plays like a publisher decided they want "Destiny but a third person shooter and worse". If you like your games to play like mindless chores where your numbers rather than your decisions matter and the story is uninspired nonsense then just play Destiny instead. I'm so tired of these games where everything is simply adequate and inoffensive. The voice acting is ok, the story is ok, the shooting is ok, nothings good there's nothing here! It's the video game equivalent of mcdonalds the calories are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ empty.

The sad thing is talent was clearly involved in the making of this but no soul or ambition was allowed. Don't waste your time on this insipid trash, It's just another 6/10 snorefest.

If you're looking a third person shooter with loot and co-op that's actually good play Remnant: From the Ashes instead.

This is a game that like Hotline Miami or DOOM 2016 puts you into a trance. What it lacks in the story and production value department it makes up for in the visuals, music and gameplay which are a solid 10/10. I remember this was released around the same time as cuphead so it was unfairly overlooked imo, it was one of my favourite games of the year.
Side note - This games soundtrack is so good I PAID MONEY FOR IT!!!

I can't believe I've never seen this game recommended because it's probably the best third-person action game I've ever played. Seriously, if you like action games go buy the rockstar humble bundle. This game alone is worth the price, it's fantastic.

I personally separate my life to pre-Getting Over It and post-Getting Over It periods, as playing it has completely changed how I view the world. It taught me to appreciate life much more (or rather in a different way) than I used to and also be more honest with myself. It may have a similar effect on you, or it may do nothing if it’s not your kind of thing, but one thing is clear — you’ve got to complete it even if it’s the last thing you do.

My life has been an ongoing quest to discover life-changing works of fiction, and despite having gone through thousands of books, movies, games and the like, I have yet to find anything to even rival Getting Over It. I’m honestly getting goosebumps just remembering it.

Pros - A True test of will that only the hardest among hardest of hardcore gamers (and masochists) will be able to conquer.

Cons - Might make you want to kill yourself

(For real now. The game is an experience made for certain kinds of people, if you are one of those people I cant recommend it enough.)

Playing rallycross with a 4 pound vr headset in this game is more terrifying than horror game I've ever played. 10/10 would recommend.
