fun but really really really hard

No idea how some people have issues with this games story, thought this game was truly phenomenal and I was completely encapsulated until the end, getting completely lost in Nivalis and its characters. I can't wait to play the DLC and hopefully Nivalis itself when it releases :)

Before this game I had played a couple roguelikes, without knowing that the were or what the title even meant, was persuaded to pick RoR2 up by a friend and it easily is the best one i've played compared to anything else of the genre.

10/10 would lose sleep and not blink for an hour again

This game can be great fun and has provided hours of enjoyment for me and my mates... until we decided to start playing ranked. I have never once encountered a more toxic community even coming from games such as csgo, within the games of ranked we played i was personally dm'd by the enemy team calling me trash and to kill myself along with the game being no fun as everyone picks the most meta strategy that decides games before they even start. And don't even get me started on the meta, warriors are insanely overpowered with this disgusting blend of insane dps, cc and survivability that they're impossible to counter, which ruins all fun you ever thought you had. This is only from a Joust perspective I can't even begin to imagine the cancer in conquest.

I've finally decided to rid myself of this plague of a game today for good and I couldn't be happier. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

I have racked up almost 700 hours playing this fantastic game and there is plenty more to come, i know me and the thriving community this game has cant wait for competetive to come out as an official mode of play. the fanbase is amazing and full of nice people to enjoy the game with. i recommend this to anyone and is one of the best valve and overall games in my book
