I wanna gush about the game, but I'll just say that it's easily one of my favorite games ever. Feels like a love letter to a love letter on the subject of art. Masterpiece.

Really loved the combat, especially at the end when you have a fully built team.
Characters loved them, Esquie such an amazing bro.
The music is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, like how did they make it so good. DAMN.

Also shout out to Guts of the Abyss, he ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up good had to lower the difficulty to story and was still getting my ass beat.

Yeah, pretty kuso. 0 polish, dunno why they decided to use UE and do every mistake that epic would tell don't do this it will suck. Was really easy, it's harder to die in this game than anything, though some enemies can easily shotgun you to death fast, though I was going with the lightest build possible so was squishy. The world reminds me of BLAME/GLT so that was cool to explore, which was my favorite thing in the game, though there wasn't anything cool to see. AI is ... well it isn't dunno if this is part of the story, but never got explained why they are so stupid that they will stand in place shoot their clip at you when you are behind a wall, overheat and you should put a sword up their bum and they die, was kidna exhausting just waiting out this cycle for every enemy, or ther choice was to gun them but that sometime takes 2 clips and puts you at risk at getting hit. Bosses were also really generic boring ♥♥♥♥, somehow the final boss was way easier and shorter than fighting 3 NPC gank squad. Customization was great and was probably the main focus of this game, just dress up your dolls and put giant guns on them I guess.
Technically the game is just bad, world 1 set post processing to low, or only get 1/3 of your frames; world 2 set shadows to low or only get 1/3 of your frames, world 3 was pretty ok, though he game has constant traversal stutters, you break a box -60fps, there is an explosion -60fps, just pure incompetence at every level.
The story is like demon souls mostly in item descriptions and NPC talking, so might as well not be there if you don't care enough.

So many parts, such amazing design for everything that is complimented by the art style.

The worst part is the default controls for KBM, after changing to your own preference its way better, but then changing some of the options for how targeting, camera controls it plays a lot better on it. ";" should never be a default keybind on PC.
Third zone was such a huge block for me, but after 8 hours I was one shoting all the arms there and had my first successful run.
Highly recommended for mech nerds.

I was very disappointed after finishing the base game, but then started and finished Linage & Legacies and was left quit satisfied with it.

The main game was very mid and left me disappointed in like everything, but L&L was everything that I expected before even starting the game. The production went like way up in it, actual cutscenes and like more than in the base game, more expressive characters, more and better animation in the cutscenes, even the events(where there are speech bubbles) were of higher quality, more fun skits. I'll blame the Wii for making this game seem bad, since the "f" added this epilogue and was for the PS3 version so probably a lot more to work with in making it look/feel good. Shame could have been an overall pretty good game now it's a mixed bag of mid and good.

Beautiful art with great gameplay, pretty easy most of the game on normal so I'd recommend changing to hard at least. Music is good, the good track at the least, but most of of the tracks are very backgroundy, forgettable.

I wasn't gripped by most part of the game, but gameplay was solid, I liked the characters, but their final social links were pretty disappointing.
Everything to do with the story after the opera house I really enjoyed, but everything till that felt very familiar I felt like I was just going through the motions, maybe the themes didn't resonate as much with me.
Overall still would recommend this game to everyone.
