First id like to make this clear: This is an awesome game. i had clocked in hundreds of hours into this game, but this was all before i got on steam. so unfortunatley, my time isnt wholly correct...

I had found out about this game by accident, was randomly searching for things to do on the schools internet, when i stumbled upon this game. back then it was till the 1.0 release. it looked interesting. so i took its name down on my notepad and decided that i would check it out in more depth when i get home.

at that time i had not much to do so i went home studied up on the game and got it. downloaded it and started playing.

its simple really. you build, you fight you explore.

collecting little blocks of dirt in your inventory, gathering treasure, fighting zombies.

the formula was exceedingly simple, but before i knew it, i had clocked it a total of 6 hours in one sitting. i had forgotten to eat, and feed my pets as well! it was that amazing!

months later, i got my brother playing the game, he too was surprised at the amount of time he spent playing the game in one sitting. the game REALLY grabs you. unfortunatley, it got tiring after awhile, i had moved onto other games.

then it happened, the game updated. i think it took an entire year before the update to 1.2 came out. i didnt think that the community was still alive, but there it was. from there everything just snowballed. my enjoyment of thge game increasing as the updates came around.

to date, i have bought the game atleast 4 times. thrice on the pc and once on the psvita.

i gave copies to my friends. we played all day and all night. beat all the bosses a hundred times each, squabbled about who gets what treasure, built giant tree houses and floating castles and much much more.

i decided to write this review when i read that the next update of the game might possibly be the last, i decided that i at least owed it to the developers.

anyways, theres my two cents.

its a great game. its got a great community.

EDIT: "the next update of the game might possibly be the last" he said back in 2014. its 2024, and theyre still saying its gonna be their last update. wont stop me from doing another playthrough when it does drop though, haha.

Custom weapons.
Excellent music.
Fast pace.
Great game.
