Having put 100+ hours into this monstrosity I have to say, absolutely don't buy this game unless you're ready for a buggy, overburdened mess. While I WANT to finish it, it's got a game breaking BUG - it's not a feature, people, if it is preventing users from actually finishing the game - with a major story line, and without being able to fix this issue, I tableflipped and have given up on this. With fights that were clearly never playtested, buggy and slow dialog, I understand that it's a 'faithful' rendition of Pathfinder's system... And why I don't play Pathfinder. It's pretty, but has such glaring issues that I have finally decided to uninstall it and play something more fun for my time.

I have known about the Cyberpunk universe since its first tabletop venture back in the 80s. I've been waiting, therefore, for a game like this to come around.

LIKE this, but not THIS.

When the game is better patched, I'll come back to it. Until then, this is an absolute atrocity of bugs and poor decisionmaking that should be downvoted until it's ready to be released fully. This is not a complete game, it's a nightmare. I have not been able to get past *looking in the mirror*, thus the 5 or so hours I've got on it are literally barely out of the tutorial - which was also broken, and every time I tried taking a screenshot, also broken, meaning I couldn't even make fun of there being "T-bug says let's look at stealth" through the entire non-stealth section of the tutorial... because it crashed on exiting and never showed that it took a screenie.

For real, guys. This game is not in enough of a playable state for me to even play it enough for a proper review. WHEN the game is updated, maybe sometime this summer, I may go back to re-review it if it plays then.

Epic Launcher incoming, a lot of people are very angry and justifiably so. If you buy this game on Steam you MUST have a linked epic account. ZERO trust there, ZERO security. The name generator I mention in my earlier version? It's GONE, because you MUST USE YOUR EPIC ACCOUNT TO HAVE A NAME. No steam names, ONLY epic. So kiss Angry Confused Zoomer good bye.

I know that some folks have burned out on Fall Guys, but honestly this game is still incredibly fun - and made more interesting by the map variations and entirely new mechanics introduced at the start and middle of the second season. I'm looking forward to continuing to play this fun stupid colorful game, as long as it is still out there. You don't have to sit down for hours and grind, you don't have to really even do much more than show up, to have a fun time. Catchy music, brightly colorful and well-designed maps, costumes aplenty, and now a name generator for Steam use? Sign me up!

Have had this game so long and played so much, but I still find fun stuff hidden in levels and hints. It doesn't upscale at all very well, so it's super pixellated now on a modern monitor, but hey. Still fun.

I'm glad that this game continues to get updates!

I thought that I was 'good' at the wingsuit. I was so very, very wrong. Wow those new stunts are HARD. Thanks to Evolve Stunting to bring me back to this game, with a great stunt video. They reminded me there was DLC and stuff I hadn't yet done here. Too bad the driving absolutely sucks, whatever happened to the controls on the cars is dismal. But then driving and flying in games has always been my weak point.

Anyway. Have a fun time blowing stuff up. For any of its flaws, JC4 is still stupidly fun, entertaining, and dynamic if nothing else.

Given that the game came out as rocky as it did, I'm quite glad I bought it during the last Steam sale. It hits almost all the 'good spots' for me: I love exploration, opening things, seeing details, expansive places; I love crafting things and building bases! I also love shootin stuff, and the occasional run-and-hide is fun here.

Almost: sadly the customization is ... poor? It's *present* but not good, certainly not enough to think 'gosh this character of mine certainly is unique!' or even 'my ship looks so cool not like those others'. Because neither character creation nor ship ownership come with very much in the way of options.

Also it's still buggy - so far I can't get past a bugged mission to complete my base, so no exocraft for me, and no finished base? After this long playing one character though I'm loathe to give that up and try a new character for it.

Overall though, it's a reasonably sedate, but still interesting game. And the fact that there was just another fairly substantial content update is promising. I don't know that I'd have paid full price, but it's certainly worth a sale.

I don't really go in any way for dating sims. I bought the Daddy one because I like to support diversity (plus I know people who worked on it). I can't even eat KFC because of food allergies left and right.

And yet, here is this, magnificent creation.

Will I play it more than once? No, pff. Nah.

Did I enjoy the hour or so I spent playing it? Yup. Laughed out loud a good number of times, was a bit surprised at the brutality of some of the characters, and took screenshots I will not stop posting on Facebook of Hawt-As-Hell "call me colonel" Colonel Sanders.

I had never played the original TR, and only made it as far as the infuriatingly bad qte in the 2013 game, but this Tomb Raider is quite fun, very well balanced for puzzles and action. Beautifully rendered, only making my machine chug a bit when large fire scenes are needed... Not finished with it, by far, but still I'm enjoying this installment of the series and am glad that the updated Lara is this fun to play.

Prey 17 is one of the most beautiful, visually stunning, but also incredibly fun to play games I've had the pleasure of running. While it does have a few issues, texture loading and some few and infrequent gameplay bugs, overall from start to finish it's a magnificent product.

The music is top-notch, with a number of pieces that have found their way into my normal listening shuffle. The voice acting for the main game is awesome as well, though that does kind of fall a little in the dlc given that they could no longer afford the big-name actor responsible for Alex Yu's terrific performance.

I won't spoil any plot items, but suffice to say that the story is very complex, and as Arkane often does - puts into perspective the reality that the character faces, moment by moment. The story behind the story though, the lore of this specific world, is utterly the best I've seen in years of gaming. It takes alternate history and runs with it, in a way that is subtle but sometimes very, very telling of our own current situation. And while you don't always come across "this person has this story to tell", the background of information is often beautiful and sad. Since you do come into the story basically 'in the middle' of an ... well, an 'episode' of epic proportion, many of the characters that you'd have met... are dead. But their stories live on, and Arkane is once more able to put more into a simple "desk decorated with birthday wishes" and move me to tears. How many people were detailed in this space station? You get to know their names, and sometimes, sadly, their bodies. But more often than not, you also have access to their private lives, their wants and fights and histories. Not just the main characters worth - the 'background' characters have all been lovingly detailed... and then murdered. This produces a very strong gut-punch in some moments.

Among the game play aspects that I loved the most was the zero or low-gravity movement. (though it does seem to change a little in the dlc, but I haven't come here to talk about the dlc, just the main game.) Normally I get quite disoriented in a 3-d space, rather than just walking or swimming around, this game allows you to go EVA and introduces a spectacular physics response. You can be swirling around upside down, and with two clicks of a finger, be 'right side up' without disorientation. The movement is smooth as silk out there, as well as indoors.

The powers or skills you can choose among make for replayability similar in nature to Arkane's other products Dishonored (and there's a good fun nod to their prior work, Ars Fatalis, in this game too). Each ability you choose can make the difference between being able to launch yourself through a tiny crack in the wall as a roll of bandages, or unlock the door right above it with hacking. All methods of playing - skill/human based, power/typhon, or mixed - are very well balanced, and encourage replaying to see how else to do something you just finished up. There's never just one way to do anything, in Arkane's games, and this is no exception.

The graphics issue (where 'high' produced some very poor visuals that never clarify and look like 800x600 blurs) was easily gotten around by just... not using that level of detail. It IS a high demand game, so performance can be tweaked.

All in all, just... play it. I realize that there are plenty of people who soured on it when Bethesda kicked the original Prey to the curb - but I'm absolutely okay with that. They shouldn't have named this game Prey, whatever - it is what it is, a replayable, very well done stealth - exploration - reward game.

After having enjoyed Dishonored 1 (qv: my review and reasons for waiting) and then seeing the art direction for Dishonored 2 was radically different, I knew I would fall into this story and world once more. I was NOT wrong.

Where D1's plot was virtually nonexistent unless you played Daud's DLC, D2's is very much apparent and available to the main character with plentiful lore - but also if you choose to ignore books and journals, or not bother to overhear conversations, it's still an easily taken-in story. There is so much more going on in this world than D1 actually showed - and the character development in the intervening years between games has been marvelous.

Literally everything about this game is wonderful - except the engine it's on. More on that later I guess.

The artistry of Dishonored 2 is among the best I've ever seen, in not just games, but art in general. Architecturally gorgeous locations, lived-in and vibrant cityscapes, and far more variety in visuals than its Dunwall counterpart, Karnaca is sheer beauty. Subtle hints and nudges about the deeper story and plot abound. The music... Oh how I am sad that Daniel Licht has passed away, because this soundtrack is absolutely stunning. The dialog and variety of characters populating the city far surpass the original game.

The game play itself is terrific. A smoother feel than D1's, for whatever reason, perhaps more responsive. Smoothly moving between magic or item use and combat, good venues for all the stealth and up front combat you'd want. I really do hope that we get a dlc that allows us to hunt or stealth our ways through these maps, like the Dunwall trials.

So many choices: at bare minimum there are six ways to go through the game - Corvo/Emily, High/Low Chaos, and Powers/No Powers. But that being said, there are individual missions which provide a stunning array of options as well. Some of them are canon, others not so much. But the replayability of the game is both obvious and amazing.

The real downside is the atrocious engine choice. I notice that Death of the Outsider lacks the 'powered by idtech' statement on its load screen - and that may be a telling point, because DotO is far smoother in performance, and didn't have the vast array of issues that D2 had on launch. If the game could be redone in the newer or better id6 engine, rather than 5, that would be lovely. I'm not holding my breath. But then I've completed this game so many times the engine is not really a problem for me.

Overall, if you liked the stealth or combat approach of Dishonored 1, if you are interested in the actual world and fleshing out the story behind what Corvo never learned in that game, Dishonored 2 is a must-play. Download the demo first, to make sure your computer can handle it, because some just cannot. I was pleasantly surprised by my 2g video card actually running it well, so your mileage may vary there. Otherwise, all my thumbs up for this game.
