The ways Rouge-Likes should be.

One of the best survivals games I've ever played. I play it over and over. The exploration, the base building, the story that you have to explore and find. All perfect cinema. Wish I could erase my memories and play it fresh all over again.

This game is what narrative VR games should be. Of course it's from Valve themselves and after 5 years since release no other VR come close to the immersion and fun of this. (Subnautica VR is also up there but not a dedicated VR game)

It doesn't quite do what the first one did, but it does do a lot more in some aspects. The story is a big lacking, the exploration is more cramped and restricted without the big open spaces. The leviathans lack a little bit of that spook factor. That said, the environments are much alive and diverse, the exploration while more cramped is well rewarded, finding small spaces that hold treasures. The base building is far far superior with much more customization, making it seems more like a home and the addition of the juke box is prime when you add your own music. I would say that it is not the first one, but a good successor!

On it's own it is really good, but paired with Arkenforge changes it from just "good" to GREAT!! Can't recommend enough for GM's
