First day performance impressions:

Works well on medium end machines (980 nvidia, 32 gb ram, i7 generation 3) with a few minor tweaks to settings:
* Adjust max frames to max
* Go to borderless windowed mode
* Adjust AA settings as desired

Art is beautiful but there is some popping in of graphics and small artifacts here and there. The game overall is gorgeous and for a day 1 it seems much less buggy than most games these days even by AAA producers.

Game play:
The game play is very open world and sandboxy which is what I was hoping for. It does have possibility of some repetition within planets but so far it doesn't seem too bad after 8 planets. There is a bit of a storline too which was a welcome surprise as survival sandbox games like this typically don't have this or don't have much of one! I'm very much enjoying this game. If they add base building with a purpose (perhaps defending against plantetary raiders) it would be my ideal game.
