I develop applications, I expect bugs in every thing....so I understand nothing is perfect and I play a game for it intrinsic entertainment value. I wont assume I understand the complexity of the DICE backlog, deadlines, stakeholder commitments, but to a degree, I do.

If you read most of these comments, or watch YouTubers blather on about 2042 you would assume it's a horrible, not worth playing, POS that needs to be sent to the farm. I think if we all pause for a moment and scratch the surface, the real revelation here is that humankind, in it's current state of evolution (or devolution), has begun to lose its humanity. Online people have all become trolls, you score points for being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Thrive through bottom feeding, find a flaw and harp on and on about it, be the loudest, say the dumbest thing, make the harshest comment...and whomever climbs to the top of that pile...garners the likes, views and blah blah. Disregard that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The actual game play is pretty solid - took about 3-4 rounds to adjust to the gun play (normally play PUBG). Maps are insanely well done, there are some glitches and issues with in each map, but overall they provide enough cover and open range to move vehicles quick or keep your squad in cover. If you are a BF veteran, you'll appreciate the revamped old maps, you'll already know where things are, choke points, etc. Feels good to jump into a tank or chopper, controls are a little wonky at first. But, as with all modern games, you do need to spend some time adjust mouse sensitivity and prob swap out a few keys to match your play style. I know I did.

I personally like Hazard Zone, although I think it would be better with 64 players instead of just 32. I have played the other modes for a few hours as well, so far I'm 85% impressed and fully entertained. If that changes, I will update.

Is it worth $60-100? Eh, I honestly don't think any game is worth what we pay and this game is no different. Buy it on sale, its easily worth $40 IMO. I've already played for about 20 hours and $3 an hour for the fun I've had with my friends isn't a loss. I'm sure in the end I'll probably spend 100s if not 1000s of hours with my crew wrecking ♥♥♥♥, ROI to the moon.

Two things I loathe.....

1) I crash more with this game than most new releases. Its annoying if you are playing Hazard Zone, as you can't rejoin your squad and it happens more with Hazard Zone than any other mode, at least thats how its been for me. SUPER LAME.

2) When I first installed and fired up the game...I had to unplug my keyboard, which could be unrelated but this is the only game that I have ever played where this was a thing. Luckily I'm a capable human and I can troubleshoot things on the fly without wetting my pants, and it hasn't impacted my game play, just annoyed me briefly.

Would I recommend this game? Yes, but if you cried at the end of Wall-E, NO. Do not buy any game, stick to mine craft creative mode.

If you like Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites, etc....then you will enjoy the humor 100% as it definitely a funny game.

However, even for the low price point, the game lacks good interactive content. The replay-ability of the game is a solid NaN, the jokes have no stay power. In the end...Clovis (the game narrator on the load screen) is probably the best part and there isn't enough of that. I cannot recommend this game. I would request a refund, but I spent so much time just getting the game to work that I don't think I can return it now.
