Not good enough to attract and keep new players who couldn't handle the game in its original form. Too many small issues to be an improvement over the game in its original form for veteran players. I assume the developers will improve most of these aspects to make the game good enough, but no I wouldn't recommend this game to others yet. I recommend you learn to play the ASCII version and the steam version will be irrelevant to you.

Terraria meets Rimworld and Minecraft, but not as fun as any of those.

Conceptually, aesthetically, the game is brilliant... but "playing" it is painful and depressing.

It's easy to find the patches/fixes but hey, maybe you shouldn't have to. My negative review is for this Steam listing and not for the game itself; which I love.

Broken mess of a game, broken mess of a genre. I'll admit that sometimes I have a bit of fun, but it's usually in vehicles. The gunplay is absolute trash.

Great concepts, terrible optimization. I can see the potential that it doesn't live up to. (as with all open-world, early-access survival games.)
