Early Access Review
In about 11 hours of game time, with the help of another member of the community, I have reached the end game content, and I feel now that I can accurately review Dragon Extinction.

TL;DR: The game is rough around the edges but is a fun niche for at least someone like me, and I do recommend it.

I'm gonna start off my review with a warning. Dragon Extinction is very rough. You'll probably spend your money on it and play it for a few hours and think it was a waste and write a negative review, and I don't think I would blame you. But you have to remember just how early access this game is. There is still so much the developer can and will do. Not only this, but trust me, you may think it is a singleplayer slog but once you get into that discord and meet some of the community, this game will become a wholly different experience (and it wouldn't hurt to have some more community members!).

With that warning out of the way, let me talk about why I, personally, WOULD recommend Dragon Extinction.

Pros:
- Dragon Extinction is simple. There aren't any hoops you have to leap through, nor are there any walls or checkpoints or any benchmark that you have to meet. All you have to do is kill things, get gear, level up, rinse and repeat. Of course, this may not be for everyone, but compared to a lot of games out there, every goal you can set in this game seems like it'll be achievable.
- The game's graphics are, neat. They're not over the top beautiful, and in fact I think some of them are default assets from whatever engine the game is built on, but the developer uses them in a way that makes them feel very unique. (To be fair, the developer is also developing this on very little money considering how little this game has been bought, and how much more the negative reviewers have refunded it.) The game uses very fascinating particle effects for the spells, something I don't think I've actually seen in other games with magic before.
- Dragon Extinction's sound design is pleasant. It isn't Dark Souls in sound design, but nor is it Tetris. The music is fitting to each zone, and, in the 11 hours I've played, I haven't yet truly wanted to turn the music off. The sounds for the combat are nothing special, but they're fun, too.
- Dragon Extinction has enjoyable combat. It is very hack and slashy, with a lot of fights in the early game being won by pressing M1 over and over, spam casting your 3 spells on a loop, etc. But the end game fights incorporate blocking and dodge rolling much more.

Cons (Sorry in advance, Xefier):
- The maps are annoying. Outright, the maps are incredibly annoying to deal with from time to time. Don't get me wrong, they LOOK great, but you can be walking around for ages to get to your objective, especially the early game forest and snow forest map whenever you have to fight bandits.
- The combat is FUN, to a point. You get to the point where you'll have several enemies rushing you at once as you're trying to traverse the map, and later in the game, enemies are stronger and stronger to the point where this is practically a death wish. Especially because, unlike bandits and undead, the animals for example can NOT be staggered by blocking their attacks, so you have to attack into them without dying while trying not to worry about anything else that's attacking you.
- Power climb. This game starts out easy, almost to a fault. You can do most missions under the required level. Which means you can unlock the next tier of missions. Me, personally, I had unlocked the 4 star missions when I was about 10 levels underneath the MINIMUM recommended level, and maybe that's why it felt this way, but there's a point in the end game where you feel like the game hates you and wants to watch you suffer. It's not a dark souls kind of difficulty, where you're struggling against the toughest fight of your life, and can overcome it through skill and determination, it is the kind of difficulty where if you don't level up to where the game wants you to be, you're gonna get screwed. It is very hard to get materials from the end game zones to get better gear -because- of how tough surviving is. You reach a point where you will fail more quests than succeed.

Is Dragon Extinction a rough game? Yes. Is it gonna be everyone's cup of tea? No. Do *I* recommend it? Yeah, I do, actually. I see a lot of potential here, and if the community can grow more, perhaps with the help of you reading this, we can make the game a whole lot bigger. Believe me, co-op changes the game entirely. Thank you for reading my honest review of Dragon Extinction!

Why shouldn't you buy this game?

Well, actually, I don't know. I've never had much or any problem with it.

Why should you buy this game?

Great, physics based medieval vr combat! Grab a broadsword and decapitate your enemies! Pierce between their blocks with your rapier! Send an arrow right into their skull?

Enemy keep blocking your attacks with those damn ANNOYING kite shields? Switch to magic and knock it to the side, shock them, and stab them until he's lifeless!

There's a fairly detailed amount of character creation, allowing you to make the mercenary you want to fight as!

Did I mention there's also telekinesis? Yes, you can grab most items and weapons from a range, bring them to you, push them away, or even fling them around into your enemies!

Not to mention, the slowmotion! Combat too fast for you? Want the upper hand to get through their defenses? Slow time and run your blade right through them! Watch your mana though, slowmotion will drain it fast.

You can even grab certain parts of your enemies' bodies! Dance with them, throw them off ledges, or slam them into walls, tables, crates, rocks, whatever you'd like!

I wholeheartedly recommend Blade and Sorcery!

What's this? Another modern-day battle royale? Oh, it must have hundreds of attachments that will instantly cause you to win, or a weapon system where you can have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapon at the highest rank, and still get first place?

Wrong, and wrong.

Cuisine Royale is a WW2 styled battle royale. It has amazing graphics, it's very fun to play with friends aswell. There aren't an overbearing amount of attachments, nor are there any "Shield Potions", "Chug Jugs", or Legendary Miniguns.

Let's get into the pros and cons.

Pros:
- Beautiful Graphics.
- The gunplay is amazing, gunfights are always super intense. And yes, this game has leaning. But every fight you get into is intense, whether its waiting in a house for an enemy to try to attack you, running with your squad mates and fighting out in the fields, or setting up an ambush, no one weapon is better than the other, *cough* Fortnite *cough* and if you aim true, you'll surely win. Also, it has hit markers, which makes finding your enemy as they run or hide, even easier.
- Variety of guns.
- Several health options. Instead of bandages and medkits, you have all different types of cuisine, that will all heal for different amounts of hitpoints. They're fairly easy to find, too.
- Fair Lootboxes. Instead of buying lootboxes for advantages, you find the lootboxes in the match. They can be scattered anywhere, looking like refridgerators, and can have food, armor, and guns.
- Interesting Armor. This isn't no PUBG Kevlar Vest, or Fortnite Slurp Juice, instead, they get back to basics, with pots and pans. Yes. You heard me. Pots and pans.
There are more I can't think of at the moment, but maybe I'll write a second review.

Cons:
- The playerbase is sadly rather low, being Early Access, it may take a bit to get into a game, and squads aren't exactly the most communicative.
- The armor being pots and pans, clatters alot as you move, making stealth a lot harder.
- Most players will hug the edge of the circle for safety, well, the fog makes a lot of noise. Loud whispering perfect to cover up the player running behind you thats about to bury an axe into your neck.
- Armor isn't actually all that useful, because there's still several exposed spots.
- There's rarely time to loot a body, as the map is alot smaller than it looks, and the circle moves fast.
- You will run out of ammo fast.

But, take into account everything, I do recommend this game. Not only is effort actually put into this game, of course, but the graphics are beautiful, and the game is quirky, but not too cartoony and over-done like a certain battle royale, but it's also not as realistic and set down to even a single attachment, like another battle royale. The fact that it is also done in a WW2, or perhaps WW1? I'm not sure, setting, really sells it for me, along with all the other pros of course.

It's a free game, it's fun, and it gets intense and exciting.
It's free, so, no harm in trying it. I recommend Cuisine Royale.

Mind Spheres, for it's price, is a really fun game.

It's a puzzle game, so, if you don't like that, don't play it.

But for a dollar, it's got okay graphics, somewhat challenging, but still fun gameplay, and a nice, calm soundtrack. It's the puzzle game that wont make you mad.

I'd definitely recommend you spend your dollar on this.

A good game. Diablo-like, which already makes it great in my book. I've only played for roughly 4 hours, but I see no real flaws in the game.

This game was built for XBOX or PS4 controllers, there are no keyboard controls, although you can use your keyboard, but besides that, this game is actually really great. You play as a man who has to re-take his village from these monsters. I call them the Embers, because of how they look. The combat is fantastic, using combos and switching weapons to take them down. Or you know. Just using the Bow through the entire game to win. The enemy types are really fun to deal with and here's a run down of them just to help new players.

Basic - Can be taken down in a couple hits, but they will run and leap at you. The best way to take them down is to hit them with your bow and then switch to light attacks when they get close.

Throwers - These are about as strong as the basics, but they will come towards you and being to throw parts of them at you. They're really easy to take down with your Bow as each hit resets their attack cycle.

Colossals - These huge Embers have a giant arm, and a ♥♥♥♥ ton of hp. They can acutally one shot you if you let them get close enough. They move relatively slow and can be hit quite a bit with your bow, but sometimes, they will charge. When they charge at you, make sure to dodge out of the way so they dont hit you. Sometimes they will swing and oneshot you, other times they slam down. When they slam into the ground and get stuck, use two light attacks and a heavy attack, then get out of range with a dodge as fast as you can.

All and all, a great game.

It's a pretty good overwatch clone, not going to lie.

Now, I'll be honest, it copies overwatch quite a bit, but gameplay wise it's pretty good. Original characters are already beginning to get pumped out, the graphics are cartoony, although not terrible, and come on, the soldier in this game can aim down the sights and use grenades, his ult is even a missile strike, come on! Who needs aimbot when you have missiles!

Each and every character has abilities to counter eachother, and the play of the games you can get are just absolutely fantastic. While at the same time, it's not overwatch, because it's like an FPS-Moba, especially with the way you can buy items that help improve you during the match to counter the enemies even more. It's just a good game.

Trust me.

The game, it's okay. It's very, Very, VERYYYYYYYYYY open world. In a sense that is good and bad, easy to get lost (if you forget the map button jfc) but also really fun to explore. There are no forced quests that say, "Hey, you may be exploring but you still gotta do me." It's just a game where you walk around, find a mission you wanna do, or at random, and do it.
