As always a very varied pack with something great for everyone. Ranging from oldtimer classics to contemporary classics from well known parks. Good mix of coasters, flatrides, transports etc. this time with great bluprints (especially for the dark boat ride).

And I, for one, like the theming on the Sky temple. It's not only beautiful but a very detailled and authentic representation of Efteling's ride in the Netherlands. Some people - like me - like to be creative, love the game but can't invest hundreds of hours like some streamer to intricately detail every teenie tiny bit of every naked flat ride. We have fun placing moderately themed rides in a fitting environment and build around that. Second: How would you even get rid of the theming on the temple? It's the whole shtick of this ride and first and foremost: the moving part is themed. PC doesn't allow theming moving parts, how would a naked Sky Temple even look?

Just pls remember, people: There are a ton of other players who just like to have fun with PC. It's a theme park game, not a "barren steel supports and colourless platforms with hydraulics"-game. You can customize sooo much in this game and it still isn't enough :D

Some of you people are never happy :D

So far Tropico 6 takes everything that worked in the predecessors and puts some great new stuff on top of it.

  • The multi-islands are great to play and look at
[']The new traffic options are welcomed and seem to work this time
  • The constitution options are better than ever, you can still appoint ministers and have some complex governing options that all integrate very well into one another
[']The era concept from colony to Modern Times is still great and the accompanying characters are hilarious without being overbearing
[*}Te new raid concept is more complex than i imagined (not only world wonders can be stolen but also resources, money, blueprints etc.) and there is a respective building and group of robbers for every era
  • Many buildings have benn reworked slightly
  • The options for trade routes, research etc. are more varied and well explained than ever.
  • Options in buildings (working mode, budget, improvements , boni) create room for individual planning and governing
  • The UI has been heavily improved, the almanach is now more visual than ever with impressive presentation of easily understandable AND detailed informations, graphs etc. The links between all data points are perfect.
  • The overlays have been improved, too, now showing not only areas of indictators but also quality without having to search for bars etc., that reach their capacity, f.ex.
  • Music great as always, main theme is an earworm.

This is a great and justified (!) sequel. Best Tropico so far, don't sleep on it, people!

A DLC more focusing on building/ scenery themes than rides. That's ok, though. The variety of ten new brands, new building sets (although of varying size) altogether with BEAUTIFUL new music tracks and sound effects along with some nice blueprints really elevate the game for me now.

And with over 300 pieces this is some great addition to the game. Definitely worth the ~tenner.

It's now much easier to get some small themed areas going that lean heavily on real-life parks: an asian area, an american area, an arabian, spanish, italian area and so on. All the brands and themes go extremely well together with old stuff (vintage or main street stuff).

I think they hit a sweet spot in terms of piece design/ size/ scale. I know there are some heavy users out there and some great YouTubers that probably prefer having every little decor hacked up as a little single piece to get more use out of it. But mediocre gamers like me with little time and less creativity (but passion ;) ) like to have some things put together as one piece to immediately get a sense of the theme (wall + heavy wall decor as one themed piece f.ex.). And i think they hit a sweet spot here. There are so many well done scenery/ building pieces that encompass what would otherwise have been 15-20 pieces in one (also GREAT for CPU load).

The People Mover (Polarity) ride is also very well executed and complex to build. Really like it.

All in all well done. Really emphasizes the classic "Theme Park" feel.

This is just awesome. One of the best videogames, storywise especially, i ever played. The fact, that you're roleplaying yourself and are able to weave you're own life (and SO) into this, makes it so relatable. But moreover, the dialogues and characters, the relationships and up's and down's of everyone seem so authentic and just realistic. Of course, there are some "deus ex machina"-like nudges for the sake of being a videogame. But this doesn't hurt. In fact, this game perfectly captures the balance between story, openness while still being a game at heart.

The artstyle is a bit grim but mostly simple, yet realistic and authentic. Music is very nice and fits the themes of the cities.

Gonna make more playthroughs, there were just so many interesting decisions and choices. All in all this might be the most realistic or authentic videogame i've ever played.

Many props to the creators, and thank you sooo much for not only giving the players same-sex options but also for avoiding stereotypes and making a gay relationship natural while playing the game. I really found many relations to my own relationship. Exceptionally well executed.

One of the best Indies i've ever played. It may look simple and superficial at first glance, but this game is very complex and very intense. The asthetics support the over-the-top action, the controls are masterfully precise and force you to really concentrate rather than button mash. There are numerous weapons, skills to unlock, enemy types, different special rounds (let me just say there's a stage type where you fight with a weapon that makes a famous "swooosh" sound :D)

This is really worth your money...and more! Wow. Must Buy for every Action Fan. More!!!!
