okay, this game isn't too long but it's hella fun.

pro's
it looks fantastic.
the story is great.
i liked the characters.
the jumpscares where "okay" i guesse.
lot off loot, you won't get out of bullets.

i liked this game because:

-pro's
it looks great.
there are a lot of updates, the developers still work on making this a better game.
I played with 2 friends and we laughed like the whole game session.
you can keep on going for like... forever i guesse, the AI adapts on how you play.
there is a lot of info on the internet.

-cons
there still are a lot of buggs, we had to fight the end boss 4 times xD
it's hard to find all the equipment without using google, but there is enough info on google ^^
the canibals sometimes got stuck in walls, rock etc.
sometimes you are stuck in walls, rocks etc
if you glide intoo the holly hole you'll propably die xD

Final verdict: Play this game with friends, there are buggs but they are sometimes funny, sometimes frustrating.

So I liked the jumpscares in the first outlast better BUT the mechanics are way bether, batteries in your pockets, "real" running (being exhausted) and ofcourse THE BANDAGES, i do like horror games and this is one of the best i've played so far. You don't have to play the first outlast to play this one
The graphics are really astonishing, this makes the game looking so realistic its like a real movie
1 more thing, your character gets really fast exhausted and this may cause some trouble, maybe he needs an inhaler or something.

Final verdict: 8,5/10
