It plays well on my 3070 without having to un♥♥♥♥ 800 hidden settings like half of AAA games nowadays. Combat feels smooth and challenging on the harder difficulties.

SNOY has relented and the mandatory PSN linking has been obliterated. Now a 10/10 game to turn your brain off and blast enemies of managed democracy.

For SUPER EARTH

I recommend it, the enemies and shop are neat and the melee combat is fun and engaging. I have some problems telling how much health I have due to colorblindness but it's not enough to stop playing, solidly enjoying it so far.

Turning the game into COD. The uniqueness of this game has been ruined by David Fifield being hired from the COD team and he is trying to turn every fight into a fast power weapon instakill 10 second fight. The game used to be about attrition and sharpshooter style drawn out western fights but now everyone has zero weaknesses in their kits, instakill tools, infinite throwables, instant body burns, overpowered short weapons and to top it all off he has literally turned the main menu into a horribly failed COD menu clone that doesn't even function correctly 99% of the time. Positioning no longer matters, setting up no longer matters, you are expected to sprint into every engagement spamming the jump wiggle and duel instakill weapon vs instakill weapon with the fight being over in 10 seconds.

If you want "call of duty search and destroy but with cowboy hats" then this might be for you, but that's all it is nowadays. Another COD clone chasing flavor of the month player numbers that fall off to unplayably low amounts after two weeks pass from their latest OP addition.

On top of all this chinese players infest US servers with wallhacks and aimbots at the higher matchmaking levels because there is no reliable ping lock and you are allowed to pick your server manually, and there is no replay system or reliable way to report them. It takes months to get someone obviously walling with video evidence banned and then they just immediately log into a new level 0 steam account with a credit card fraud copy of hunt and cheat for another 4 months, rocketing up to 5+ KD on a brand new account with no "maybe something isnt right here" flag.
