Golf it is the game my friends and I go to when everything else is getting stale. Maps on the workshop keep it interesting, and it's fun to mess with one another with collision turned on and jump enabled. This is the superior multiplayer minigolf game.

The game in its current state is a mess. It feels very much like an unfinished product. Not enough weapons, those that are included are poorly designed, bullet spread and drop are inconsistent, and the maps are such that unlike other entries in the Battlefield franchise, infantry often have "dead zones" where nothing happens between objective points.

But what's most vexing is the omission of several key characteristics that make Battlefield the game that the playerbase expects it to be. Classes are essentially nonexistent. Loadouts are unrestricted. The game seems very much optimized for solo squad play rather than actual squad tactics. It feels like a BR game, without the BR component. Hell - you can't even CHAT with just your squad anymore. The best you get is the trusty old Q key for tagging, objective assignments, and callouts.

The bones are there for this to be a return to form for the Battlefield franchise. With some more development and some much needed fixes, this has all the ingredients to feel like a mix of BF3 and BF4 with some new stuff that's interesting and could layer into that foundation really well. But until the game gets patched and the additional content added, it isn't worth the price of admission.

Game feels like it was designed to be on mobile. Controls are fluid, but resolution options are severely lacking. DOES NOT SUPPORT ULTRAWIDE DISPLAYS. Press Alt+Enter to go windowed and switch to borderless fullscreen. This will put it in letterbox mode with huge bars on both sides. Seems like it could be fun, but it has too many issues. As others mentioned no exclusive multiplayer is a pretty big drag too.

Valheim is the best video game since before WoW started to suck.
