Portal is Valve's genius combination of comedy, puzzle, shooter and story. The game taking place in Aperture Science Laboratories, you wake to find yourself at the mercy of the insane A.I GlaDOS. Portal is one of the few games that can manage to appeal to all kinds of gamers, no matter what age or genre they are used to playing it's hard not to enjoy the game. The geniously crafted levels really test your brain and ability to think outside of the box and truly give the player a sense of fulfilment upon finishing them.

As we can expect from a valve game, Portal runs smoother than most games out there. This is made possible through the use of user interactions with the environment rather than using cutscenes. This makes the player truly feel immersed in testing.

All in all, Portal is pretty freaking amazing and is a nice change of pace for any regular steam gamer. So yeah, do get.
