I like the game conceptually, but in execution I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate it. None of the characters are even remotely likable. It's just not fun, at all.

Rough around the edges but still that one of a kind Etrian Odyssey experience!

If you enjoyed the later entries of this series but ignored the original DS trilogy, or if you are brand new to the franchise and are considering picking it up--I wholeheartedly recommend it! The Etrian Odyssey games get better with each entry, but even these older games have that same charm. The same gameplay loop I've come to love from these games, just lacking a few quality of life updates the series would get from EO4 and onward.

All that being said, having completed the game 100%, I enjoyed the journey. The collection may be pricey but it was worth every single penny to me.

The old PC version was better, this version is just a port of the mobile game. Despite that though it can still be fun, its free so if you're interested give it a try! Don't buy the battle pass though, this season is giving incomplete skins. Only 1 tier of skin instead of the 3 it always used to be. (1 star, 2 star, 3 star).

Do I recommend this game? I wish I could. I really, really wish I could. Sadly, I do not recommend this game.
