Rebuilt Moria while digging for gold.

If you need something a little more complex than minecraft, but still lets you dig the absolutely necessary amount of holes in the ground, then this is it. Also, you can display your large rock piles to the envy of the neighbors.

The asteroid mechanic is cool too i guess.

10/10 would mine again.

So you know when you were a little kid, playing with your Gundam toys, making them zoom around and blow up the weaklings before pulling out their sword and just committing absolute warcrimes against the "boss"? This is that. A lot of that. With occasionally even bigger robots that you stab a bunch of times.

Been a long LONG time since i got to play an Armored Core game, and i gotta say, it doesnt disappoint. Movement feels good, combat feels nice, plenty of parts and weapons to make a mech play the way you want it. Customization is, as expected, through the roof, color schemes, weathering patterns, stickers/emblems, how *glossy* and *reflective* you want that particular part to be, youre unlikely to see 2 identical mechs in a match unless theyre in a clan or intentionally trying to do something "meta". You can spend literal hours in the mech assembly (and they know it, thats why theres a hotkey for photomode in it, lmao)

That being said, light/medium/heavy focus for mechs doesnt really feel like it adds a ton of "weight", and the sound design not really feeling "bass-y"er for the bigger mechs doesnt help, but those are by no means dealbreakers (and the sound design is always something can be fixed in one way or another later).

Altogether, I'd say my first 2 hours with it, its a "first time ive smiled gaming in several years"/10, I will be pouring many more hours into it in the coming weeks

its far from a basic 4-player coop horde survival. between the ever shifting levels, diverse enemies, and classes capable of equally going alone or supporting a team, theres something to enjoy for everyone.

best played with friends, but even a random lobby can provide fun enough for what you need, either a quick 20 minute mission, or a long haul campaign.

Its the warhammer game weve always wanted and deserved, but never got.

You know whats killing the game more than anything? the playerbase. Especially on the german side, people will pick a lower leveled player and make direct verbal attacks against them, and then defend the person making the attacks "if you cant handle it, get out". and some of these attacks are pretty toxic aswell. And apparently reports just arent handled anymore because there are quite a few players who receive report after report and are still in game every day for months trashing it up.

im done trying to get friends to pick it up, and done trying to make other friends stay. i wanted to like the game, i kept coming back to it. its gotten better in some areas, mixed in others, but the community has only gotten worse.
