Okay so Now to edit my review, this game is good. I can't recommend any Capcom game due to shady business practices. However let me break it down for you like a couple of other reviewers won't. They have also now released a patch that makes the game run on deck and linux (Though there are reports of varying success)

As of writing the current DRM, Enigma, is Russian made however I feel that is very silly to immediately distrust just because of OOoooOOoOoOoOoO RUSSIA. A couple of hypotheses WHY it was added is either mod prevention (which has already been worked around so GG), or just due to licensing issues and cost cutting since Denuvo can have upwards of ~$25k of cost per month to run on a game. They just went with a really crappy alternative in one that runs worse. The performance issues suck, though I will admit to not being impacted due to either playing on a Steam Deck or high end of mid to high end PC.

BUT IT GETS FLAGGED AS A VIRUS
DRM in all forms behaves as a code obfuscation piece of program that essentially lies about how a program runs. This DRM wraps around Monster Hunter to obfuscate it. That being said, I have found a few sources stating that this particular piece of DRM, while not being a virus itself does appear within the code of several viruses. DRM can be used as wrappers for viruses, and this particular DRM shows up alongside a few viruses, thus making it a sus piece of software due to what it can sometimes accompany. (I would need to further verify this information so take it with a grain of salt.) That being said in this instance there have yet been no reports of any harm coming to a person's PC so I wouldn't be too concerned.

The major downside of this DRM is simply the performance loss that players are experiencing, which, if you're concerned about you can always downgrade a game via steam (though it will remove online functionality if I have heard correctly.)

As a computer paranoid person I would run this game on my pc, and I will continue to run the game on my PC. But just due to the shoddy quality of the DRM, I cannot recommend it without someone figuring out how their system would be impacted. A game cannot be recommended if it's going to be a roulette on whose PC it will work on and whose it will not.

Remove the DRM. There are better alternatives if you're worried about costs, Capcom.
