Meta got annoying after the first few matches. Its literally only snipers and invisibility dudes every match i've played.

Alright hear me out (MILD SPOILERS),

There are a lot of things Cyberpunk 2077 does right (played through 2.0, no DLC yet) and even though i give the game a thumbs down it still is a great game. It will however personally depend on you if you want to give the game a go or not.

Lets start with the positive points of the game:
- Immersive storyline and gameplay
- Quality Visuals, absolutely stunning
- Fun abilities and upgrades
- Awesome car designs
- Big open world with lots of side activities
- Optional storylines
- Hidden secrets and secret ending

All the positives absolutely carry the game to a high point and it would've been perfect were it not for the many problems i have with the game as well. It's difficult because i really like the world they built but they didn't really put that to a good use.

The biggest problem i have with the game is the storyline, while its very immersive its also extremely depressing and there is absolutely NOTHING you can do to change the outcome of V or Silverhand (or certain other characters) during the entire game. Theres only one choice you need to make in the end that really settles it. I was really hoping that there would be more you could do to really change the endings or fates of certain characters.

Apart from that the game also really fails to give purpose to the lifepath you pick at the start of the game. There isn't really anything your lifepath does except for maybe giving you a few extra dialogue options in an already pointless dialogue.

If we look past the story and more into the game itself the devs managed to iron out a lot of the bugs i first encountered when i tried to play the game back at its release. There were a few bugs here and there regarding ragdolls or other minor things but nothing too major. Only once did i have to reload a save because Jackie refused to stop eating noodles.

My final problem i have with the game are its stealth mechanics, the stealth in the game is absolutely atrocious. The slow crouching really doesnt help with getting that walking npc before anybody notices you. While there are perks to help with stealth it still felt awkward a lot of the time.

Overall i really like this game which is why im sad to give it a thumbs down. However considering its a story driven game i feel like the story is what matters the most, and since the story is not really a jolly happy ride to go through and makes you feel powerless in plenty of situations with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending as the cherry on top im gonna have to give it a thumbs down.

Give em hell

Gameplay wise this game is great. Plenty of different tracks and track variations, overall good AI (except for the part where they let you win sometimes). All characters have their own special abilities and powerup sets. Powerups function differently depending on how you use them as well which is also really nice.

If youre looking for a great time with friends you'll have it here as well as all racers are unlocked without having to worry about the progression system.

Competitive multiplayer however is a big no no. Unless your racer is high level, competing in competitive multiplayer is a terrible experience. I would recommend trying the unranked multiplayer instead which is fair ground.

The progression system is the only thing thats keeping this game directly and indirectly down. Overall though i would recommend it as the gameplay is really well done and polished.

Put these foolish ambitions to rest

I spent the last few hours sinking Athenian fleets, slaughtering Athenian troops and burning their supplies just to later be invited to their leaders private party where i had sex with a horny politician and was discussing ethics with a person who can't seem to shut up. 10/10 game

Should i recommend this game?
I got:
- Forcefully seperated from the boys on multiple occasions
- Lost in countless situations
- Chased by a mad butcher pig
- Addicted to throwing and following glowsticks
- Scared by cardboard cutouts
- Extremely paranoid for anything that made noise

Yes, yes i recommend this game.
