I'm loving this game a lot so far. It's a great hack/slash type of game, and I would even compare it to dark souls with how some of the game play goes, notably the timed block and counter mechanics.

As several other reviews noted TURN OFF AUTO LOCK ON, also change lockon priority to center, it helps alot.

All the units that I have played feel exactly like I hoped they would feel when playing them. If you love Freedom, you're gonna love it in this game, it feels AMAZING.

The story is actually pretty decent. It's a fix the timeline type of plot line(you learn that in the first few minutes, not really a spoiler). You get to play first hand in so many amazing moments from the Gundam multiverse.

One con that I will agree with the other reviews on, it's a tad unfortunate that the voice acting is exclusively in Japanese, as in the heat of a mission, you may forget to read what your cast of characters are saying. It's not that bad for me though, as I actually enjoy redoing the missions.

I would suggest you look past the mixed reviews of the game, and give it a try if you're a fan of Gundam, and have halfway decent reflexes(you'll need them).

I originally played the kotor games on og xbox back in the early 2000's. kotor 1 was probably my 4th rpg ever if you discount pokemon(cause everyone loves pokemon), and while most of the features were over my head I've always remembered it as one of the best rpgs of all time, it's definitely my favorite. I was even able to beat kotor 1 and 2 with no knowledge back then with the difficulty turned down. because I was bad

Playing through it again all these years later, with some recent dnd experience under my belt(and all the bug fix and hd texture mods, there's a comprehensive guide to setting up on the kotor reddit), I actually get what's going on gameplay-wise now and I can back up what my child self originally thought, BEST RPG EVER

it's clunky at first if you're used to more modern game systems, but it's not bad, it's good at what it's trying to do, giving you a really good star wars story with dnd 3.5 like mechanics

dudes, I started playing this game a LOOOOONG time ago, and it's not the best game i've ever played, okay, but i keep coming back, it's the best source for cannon star trek stories since picard and discovery are poo.

the space gameplay is pretty good, it's not elite dangerous or X levels of quality, but it's ok. i like space waaaay more than ground

ground combat either goes like a traditional mmo, or you can do an over the shoulder mass effect style camera.

the game is not pay to win, it's super pay for convenience. the game gives you the bare minimum you need to do well, and you can get everything in the cash shop in game without cash, though it's gonna be expensive(in in game money).

the one downside i see is how everything is on a timer. r&d, the admiralty system, the reputation system, refining dilithium(which you need to get cash shop items without money btw), even the 10th anniversary event is on a timer. I get it's a standard thing for f2p mmo's, i mean if you look at my profile, i have way more time in warframe than this, and that has way more timers. it's not a deal breaker for me, but it's annoying, and i can see why it would be a dealbreaker for other people

Early Access Review
I like this game, I REALLY like this game, but the reviews here are ignoring quite a few facts when they say the devs have given up on this game. We get nightly builds which get updated either every night or every other night. These arent main game updates(because all of the things in the nightlys are buggy as all) but the devs are working on the game for sure. Right now there isnt as much in the way of content(in the main game) the devs announced recently(3 days ago) that the game will be updated soon. If you get this game and feel the devs are off having a circle jerk without you, go get cubeworld and see how you feel on that ♥♥♥♥, the devs there are having an endless circle jerk with a side of Anlingus.

I love this game. I have loved the sims games since The Sims: Busting out on the Gamecube. I have all the major expansions except into the future, and i plan to get that when I have the cash. I dont have much time on this version because I get the stuff on steam and copy it to origins, as i already had content for it on there.

Most everything is great about this game but here are some cons about the base game and the expansions:

Baby sims are annoying, plainly unless you have the generations expansion which alleviates alot of the problems i had with them

Island paradise is massive and has a bug with houseboat movement that messes up ai sims movement, getting them stuck and without activating cheats/mods causes major gameplay slowing problems

Modding capabilities arent build straight into the game, but it's easy to get working admittedly
--------------------
Speaking of mods, if you get any mods make sure they are from a trustworthy place and i recommend bug fix mods, because ea has stopped patching this game and there are still lods bugs

So I have as lot of time in warframe, I loved this game for the longest time. But I felt I had to write a new review for this game as a result of the recent Tencent acquisition of Digital Extremes parent company by tencent. Tencent has a habit of buying up properties and just filling them completely with p2w garbage, and they clearly dont care about quality of content, so I'm preemtively making this review for when warframe gets bad as a result of the buy out. I don't trust a chinese corporation like tencent to do justice to this brand, and I thought it would be pertinent to warn you guys too.

I know what you might be saying, "warframe is already p2w!" I disagree, because in my time playing warframe i've only bought plat twice and i have all the prime frames that I want, it only took like a few hours of grind to get that new prime frame first day each time I wanted the new one.

TLDR, I dont think the game is that bad now in terms of pricing buying things and grinding, but I see the situation getting much worse soon because of a change in management.
