Writing a negative review for Helldivers 2 makes me sad. In my opinion it is one of the best Co-Op games ever. It unites people to fight for a common cause. Arrowhead did a great job.

Positive review for Arrowhead, but negative review for Sony.

This is my first game in the Homeworld series, so I can't compare it to the others.

TLDR: Don't buy it at full price, it doesn't offer nearly enough content for the price. It feels more like a $39.99 game than a full-price AAA game.

Skirmishes are basically just about spamming the right ships and throwing them into battle. Since the maps aren't that big, there's nothing tactical about positioning or scouting, other than perhaps hiding the mothership. There are 6 skirmish maps, and that's not nearly enough since they're so small. In that regard, it just doesn't feel like a real strategy game.

War Games was the best mode for me. You need to be at least a little tactical about how you want to approach the goal.

I haven't finished the story yet, but it hasn't really catched me yet. The start is initially just a second tutorial and seems to be there to stretch the content.

I can't recommend the game at this time because it lacks content and is overpriced.

Game of the Year.

This game is the first try with Unreal Engine for the DEV.
For a first project it's great. Big fun with friends.
