PROs:
I encountered 0 bugs after 10 hours in game (even though this game is very early in development)
This game is a unique experience, there is no other space scavenging survival game with with deep ship building and social mechanics
world building and aesthetic is extremely compelling. Blue Bottle really understands used future, space ship held together with duct tape, early 80s aviation, "analogpunk" aesthetic. makes all the other rainy neon noodle bar games look like shallow pastiche.
The modularity of the ships make it a ship design game in disguise. You can build ships out of 1 meter square blocks like its top down terraria. Combined with the scavenging mechanics, you can slowly upgrade your ship, scavenge materials to repair your ship, and scavenging battery charge a fuel so that you never have to refuel your ship.
Ship scavenging game loop already feels very addictive and satisfying. With more items added with mods and development the loop will becoming even more engaging.

CONs:
At this point in development it feels like you run out of content to experience very quickly
after you get about 30k (which happens quickly if you know what your doing), game doesn't feel high stakes or desperate. Your financial comfort makes scavenging less compelling

If the developers follow their road map (and they have been following it closely with frequent updates so far) these issues I expect to resolve

Very satisfying ship building dynamics. which modules you choose and how they are arranged really matter.

with a limited budget, there is no 'best' design, no ship can be equipped for every situation, which means clever planning and superior strategy can defeat an economically advantaged opponent.

The campaign mode is simplistic, and plays a lot like risk. Because there are basically no drawbacks to owning cities, factions will snowball in strength, and as soon as you control half the cities, you have already won.

The difficulty settings seem to mostly just change the strategy of the AI, which is exactly what they should do.

An easy mode campaign will allow you to conquer with a gustav cannon wunderweapon, while hard mode forces you to create super efficient designs.
