Great presentation, compelling soundtrack and solid detective gameplay.

Fantastic open world, stealth em up sandbox. Plenty to do, and lots of freedom in choosing what to do, and how to do it.

After all these years AOE II remains one of the greatest RTS to ever grace the scene.

And there are still expansions coming out.

And you can still get a game, in Australia, at midnight.

And damn son it's guuuuuud.

While the gameplay is great, the technical issues that this game suffers from really lower it's playability. Don't buy this until a patch that succesfully adresses the myriad of techincal issues it suffers is released.

I guess now we know for sure why Bethesda stopped providing the press with copies before release.

THe level of detail in this game is magnificent. The story is compelling, the fights are fun, the amount of choices you have, and the ways they impact the game just make it a joy to play.

I reccomend that you don't look at any of the game's promo material. Don't ask your friends about this game. Don't ask for help on Yahoo Answers. Instead play it, completely blind. Take the risk, because the reward is just amazing.
