I almost forgot this game existed after not touching it for a couple of years. I absolutely forgot how much of a timesink this neat open source project was. Brought back memories of a simpler time... Never thought I'd see this on Steam but here it is.

9/10 will create motor blockades and block stations for the competition again.

The game is really fun and I loved every bit of it. The gun play is great, haha super shotgun goes boom click-clack. The enemies this time around has fun gimmicks such as the blessed Marauder forcing you to adhere to his way of tackling him.

But ultimately the let down from this new update is the level 0 ring anti cheat, could be described as a rootkit/backdoor if we're going to be cynical. My personally opinion on level 0 ring third party-drivers should only be anti virus and whatever the OS your running needs to function, anything else is a security risk, especially when Denuvo has a poor history of making games run slower with their DRM and apparently the some of the other steam reviewers are suffering the same issue with their anti-cheat.

Advocating for a boycott pointless, but I'd ask you potential buyers to make the choice between a couple of hours of dopamine or having restraint to create a future without these invasive and/or backdoor tools added to the games we care for.
