2042 updated review for Season 2:

+New map is a 'B-' and upcoming S2 map reworks look good though not yet released.
+New specialist, grenade, vehicle, are neat additions
+Performance is yet again improved, game basically runs fine now.
+lots of new Portal guns

-New primary weapons are bugged, though announced to be fixed next major patch
-New 'vault' weapons are janky and underpowered and need work.

2042 still a 7/10 game, but now with a little more content compared to before. Season 1 had a better map but at least there is more in Season 2 to sink your teeth into.

I can say the game has aged well. Its still plenty of fun. Probably my only complaints are: the cheesy writing, the janky menu UI, and that it doesn't support 2560x1440. but the gameplay is solid and so is the atmosphere. If you like Gears of War or RE4 style gameplay this is worth picking up and playing.

Early Access Review
The game its based on is a classic, and as far as I've seen, Black Mesa has done that game justice.

I played this game for the first time about 7 years after its release. I can say that it holds up well. If you are interested in first person stealth, decent story telling, excellent world building, and a RPG-lite upgrade system, Dishonored is a worthwhile play.

I originally played Reach's campaign on console and only tried its multiplayer for the first time on PC. I can say the campaign is not memorable but its multiplayer is pretty good.

I'm most excited for Halo 3 on PC once that is released. At the time of the review this is not the case yet.

I don't normally play fighting games, but this one is quite a lot of fun and a excellent way to get into fighting games. I played though a good chunk of the tutuorials and played all the story modes to completion and I enjoyed it quite a lot through out.

Since I don't play a lot of fighting games, I'm a poor person to ask if I think its mechanics are great incomparison to other's in the genre (the only other fighting games I've ever gotten remotely into was Tekken and Killer Instinct and I was a super casual player), however the game does a decent job introducing you to its mechanics in its tutorials and seems plenty deep to this novice.

The plot is relatively simple with the base game character story modes, mostly the characters themselves are interesting and worthwhile. Game develops a fairly intriging plot with the DLC characters however.

A minor negative for the base game is that the 2nd encore DLC is also arguably a must, as it adds voice acting to the story modes and a lot of extra challenges, really fills out the content.

I actually also played online and was shocked to find an opponent fairly quickly. Game is pretty old but still has an active online playerbase. I got my ass handed to me though at the time, but of course I had pretty much only just started even learning the ropes.

Its a solid purchase at $25 if you enjoy fighting games (Time of this review, this is the cost of the game + DLC) or if you are looking to get into fighting games.

Fantastic game, solid FPS mechanics, funny writing, good voice acting, good art direction, interesting RPG-ish mechanics. Worth buying at its standard price.

A fantastic game that emphasizes smarter play, exploration, and earnest morality. Gorgeous and detailed in its world, story, and characters.

This game deserves everyone's attention.

This is a cautious thumbs up. Max Payne 3 plays significantly differently from the original 2 games, and fans of the original may not like its slower combat, and early stages are a tad simplistic. It however is interesting and tactical in the later stages, and the final level is fantastic.

What makes it slow is Rockstar's introduction of the Euphoria animation system: Max takes some time to do basically everything physical, which is more realistic, but slows him down.
