Personally I've had nothing but trouble with setting controls up and the UI could seriously be doing with work, a tonne of features don't work as advertised. Kinda expected them to be working at launch, mainly multiplayer. Complete hit or miss from what I understand. Players disappearing just like in 2020. 4 years later and still the same problems, ridiculous.

You guys are actually needing your eyes checked if you think this does nothing. It quite clearly improves everything ten fold.

Can't join friends because they are on old full servers. It's not a queue based system.

I wanted this game to be good, I really did.
I actually had a great first race in multiplayer but honestly I could just feel things would get worse if I didn't refund this title.

I bought game pass to try it out and ofcourse it crashed constantly, was a buggy abhorrent mess, but I still wanted to play it so I got it on steam. Same crash the very first time I launched... but it recovered. Played for an hour without any real problems however I then saw this video ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pawoRkReqlU and refunded.

Highly recommend watching this video by Sepi (SP4) before playing any further than the refund timer.

Movement feels fine to me, certainly has some work they can do to it.. Penalty system for team killing needs implemented asap. Even if you kill someone on your faction you shouldn't be able to take their gear and instantly run to the extract. They certttttainly need to add more items. It's a joke how little there is to find in the world even in EA. Cans of soda, chocolate bars and some baseball caps.. ?? I hope the next update adds more barter items. God knows it needs it.

But for EA and first day I'm generally quite impressed.

Think back to when Tarkov came out. It's not much different. Infact this game has more content than Tarkov had in 2 years back then. Every wipe Tarkov has EVEN to this day the game is unplayable with performance issues and bugs for 3-5 days. This game's release and they had one tiny issue they resolved very quickly.
No lag, No drop outs, No crashes. That's a thumbs up in my book already.

I see great potential in this games future and I'm all for it.

Made millions of dollars on release, still has barely released any updates. GG Iron Gate.
Good game just still to this day seriously lacking content in my opinion.

lol, wrote this and posted it and decided to see what the "mostly positive" reviews were, saw quite a few negatives dabbled in there with exactly what I wrote, glad I'm not alone in thinking this.

Got it on sale, didn't enjoy payback or heat really.. am I enjoying this..? ehhh... I think I am.. although;

Feels pretty grindy so far
The day/night thing is a boring game play mechanic, night time is supposed to be more cash? It isn't.
Police chase simulator, even when we finish a race and there's 0 cops around me I'm forced into a chase
Almost feels pointless because the multiplayer is just.. bad. If you like single players, it's basically that. Coop in the future would be very nice.

Positives;
Nice graphics
Driving isn't that bad as people make it be but it's not amazing.
Way better customisation than other competitors (minus the wrap editor)
Nice that this one has battlepasses to be honest, I like the extra content instead of the game just being abandoned immediately after launch.

Just learned that story and online are two completely different things, you start fresh in online, ♥♥♥♥ this game.

I've owned this game since day one and I honestly didn't think it was that bad, but both times I have tried to return it's mind boggling to me how poorly this game looks and runs.

If you are on borderless the game runs HORRIBLY, if you go on fullscreen you are still plagued by the bug that has been in since day 1 where your mouse cursor is always on your screen. The bugs in missions are insane to me, Enemies going through walls into inaccessible areas etc when you are on a timer to kill them. I just don't understand how people are still playing this game. I love fallout and I really hoped this would be better after all these updates they have been doing but alas, still the same pile of sh*t full of problems from its release. Crazy.

My main character is level 87 and I don't even know how I made it that far. Every time I've tried doing a quest it's been literally impossible due to problems I cannot control.

Back to being a very nice game, no more nvidia issues, thank you devs x
