Early Access Review
Alnico smithery is a comfy smithing game with a simple gameplay loop. You are a smith, people pay you to make things. In doing so, you’ll mine your own ore, smelt it into the desired alloy and craft it into the requested creation.

While simple, the game provides plenty of goals; upgrading the workshop, discovering new alloys and becoming rich.

Alnico’s charming graphics, satisfying sound effects and fun physics make it something special.
Big recommend if you like chill games.

With 2,000 hours clocked, it shouldn’t be a surprise that I find this game incredibly fun. A combination of racing and platforming with the simple goal of getting to the end as quickly as possible.

One thing that makes Distance so great is the freedom. Unlike most racing games, you aren’t restricted to the road; you can platform on buildings and fly to achieve better times. This makes routing very enjoyable, as creating your route that beats the road is easy and satisfying.

Another fantastic part of the game is the level editor and community levels. I probably would have stopped playing after a few hundred hours without so many good workshop levels. Coupled with multiplayer, I can get lost in Distance for hours while listening to good music.

The game does have a learning curve, but that’s part of what makes it fun. For new players, please don’t stop after the campaign; it’s short and doesn’t fully represent the game. Try to beat the nightmare fuel levels, get golds or even diamonds on all arcade maps, and maybe try going through the air control playlist on the workshop or competing for top times. There’s so much to do, and constant improvement is apparent in this game.

If you're into speed, platforming, challenges, or map-making, I can't recommend Distance enough. It's my absolute favourite game and I'm always eager to dive back in for another race.

Satisfying drifting
Fun air control
Eye candy aesthetics
Challenging, engaging and competitive tracks
Not to mention lots of neato community tracks

I very much like this game. Just be warned it's not a relaxing game, most levels are very punishing if you aren't paying attention and you will die lots
