Highly addicting game. It's like total war's board theatre but more complex.

Bought it for €6, basically a steal.

Still in beta, but already is an amazing game! So much fun, the atmosphere is genuine 40k.

Well done, iron some wrinkles out and it's an instant classic.

EDIT: obese megalodon did their magic, game is now great. Banger soundtrack, fun times with friends. I'd go as far as saying the bets 40k game now.

Multiplayer: Great game, retains the classic Halo feel while staying fresh and modern. Gameplay is top notch, monetisation, optimisation and playlists should be refined. The fun factor is still big enough to overshadow a few hiccups.

Singleplayer: Campaign is also great. The addition and chemistry with Weapon was a great addition. The sandbox and semi-openworld works, everything just clicks and is fun.

Some 20 hours into this game, with very little prior FG experience.

The game is very much fun and beginner friendly, but it still has an incredibly steep learning curve. You gotta man up and practice, get wrecked 600 times and some more to be better. There is no other way.

The game has beautiful graphics, the anime feel is amazing, and a huge bonus that it runs on potato PCs as well via resolution scaling. The fan service for DB fans is there (but I'm still waiting for a Roshi/Kid Goku DLC!). The fight is fluid, fun and spectecular, it's truly an instant classic. Microtransatcions are very limited, you can open every skin and cosmetic via (and only) in-game currency. The game gives you Zeni very generously too.

One major problem: the controller support for local games is abysmal. I play this game with an official X1 controller, my pal came over with his official PS4 controller. And we can't play, because the game recognises the PS4 controller as an input for both P1 and P2. This shouldn't happen in a game like this.

Overall I recommend this game and I give it a 8/10. I'd give a 9/10 or even a 10/10 if I could play locals properly.

I bought this game instead of GTA5 in 2017, during the Winter Sale, as I lacked a proper PC to run it back then. It was such a good deal for a few euroes.

Sleeping Dogs is an amazing game! It is similar to GTA's open world setting, you are an undercover Hong Kong cop in the Triads. There is a main story and countless side quests and things to do just for fun.

What I like:

  • The game succesfully differentiates itself from GTA. It has fewer guns, but an advanced meele combat system, similar to the Arkham games (though not as refined). This makes the game different and also, gun usage is more rewarding because it is scarce.
  • Hong Kong has an amazing atmosphere. I've never been there, but it made me want to see it. It has a unique Chinese setting, and makes the game memorable. I wish we got an HD remake/sequel just to see HK in the full 2018 graphics glory.
  • The OST is great and unique, they used a lot of Chinese music, and that gives the game an authentic feel.
  • The voice actors are superb, especially Wei. His character feels relatable and like a real person.
  • The story is well made, it starts a little slowly, but once it picks up steam it's really good and has some nice twists.
  • The DLCs are super fun and creative, Monkey King pack is my favourite, but the DZS90 missions and Car is also fun.
  • There are plenty of side quests, from cop SWAT jobs to illegal street races. You can easily spend tens of hours between or during the story on them. Some do feel repetative, especially the cop jobs (they are usually just a chase or a SWAT mission), but they are still engaging.

What I didn't like:
  • The animations and graphics do feel dated. The game's textures and models are far below what you'd expect these days. Sure, it's a game from 2011, but Arkham Asylum for example is from 2009, and I felt that less jarring.
  • Controls feel clunky sometimes. I played this on PC, but with an XBOX One controller, and sometimes aiming or moving was somehow just... too complicated. Maybe I'm just used to the precision of WASD+Mouse.
  • Glitches and bugs. There were some missions I had to restart, because some scripted events didn't trigger. There were glitches with physics and at one mission at the Bam-Bam Club the game crashed every time, and I had to manually rewrite the resolution of the game's cfg file to fix this. This isn't really accaptable, especially when the game was supposedly patched back then.

Overall, I enjoy(ed) this game very much, if there is a sale definitely grab it. It's unique, it's engaging, it's fun. If an average game is 5/10, I rate this 7/10. I'd give it an 8/10 if it was less glitchy and had somewhat better controls.

Great gameplay, it's a fairly casual fighting game, ideal for beginners. The story mode is fun, but holds very little replay value. It's worth playing twice with different characters to get a reward. It's a great story though, nicely ties in with the Injustice comics.

The characters are memorable, the multiverse keeps you challanged, and the gear system is fine, but it's really grindy if you want a piece you like - good news is, they are only cosmetic items in competetive mode, so there is no pay-2-win. I'd say the DLCs are worth it, the Fighter Pack characters are really fun, especially Atom, Red Hood and Starfire. Of course, as any DLC I wish they weren't, because it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ system, but this is one of those "lesser ripoffs".

My only gripe with this game is the high system requirments. Optimisation is kind of okay, but could be better, there are still some bugs left. The game sometimes crashes without warning or error message. This is especially infuriating when you are in the middle of a multiverse challange or playing online. Speaking of online, the playerbase is already dwindling, so if you want online experiance, you may have difficulties in the future.

Overall I recommend the game, because it is very well done both aesthetically and gameplay wise. DC fans and fighting game beginners, even enthusiats should love it. The only drawbacks are some unresolved technical difficulties. If you have an Xbox or Playstation you might want to play this game on those platforms.

A great game IMO, the feeling is similar to Total Annihilation's. Though I play on a smaller hardware (4gb ram, u6100 and HD520), it runs playable, albeit sometimes the laoding times feel like an hour. I recommend a proper rig.

The game itself is an enjoyable macro RTS. You have to coordinate mass manufacturing and commanding hundreds of units across continents and planets. It is really fun. Sometimes it feels a bit "unfinished" for some reason, hope there will updates and an active community.

Recommending it to every RTS and scifi fan.
