Wow, this game is brilliant

Masterpiece...

kIngdoms and Castles is a pretty ok game...
The gameplay its self is alright alothough not worth the £7.00 it costs, the quality is that of phone game with bad preformance, i have got ever ahcievement on this back before realease when you had to optimise every single tile on the map however now with the harbour update makes building large cities alot easier (this is not a bad thing). The direction the game is heading in looks favorable but in its current state i feel should not be a full release.

The bad parts:
-Low preformance, when you have spent hours building up a average size city (3k pop) i quite saddening to find a large frame drop every harvest, i have a good computer so lag is not somthing i usually have to deal with even in games like rust with much higher graphic and a game notorious for un-optimisation.
-Not much content, so building a city is literally all the content you get (this is not a game you can put 100s of hours into, usually 30 if a diehard fan), there is no workshop support or ingame progression system.
-Small maps, so i think a simple fix for this is adding in a larger map say a large island formation then you can start colony one of the island (main city game) extract the reasorces and put them towards military efforts for a conquest against say the viking's settlements.
-No multiplayer, so i think the game could become really good if they go down the road of implementing a RTS conquest gamemode.

The good parts:
-Fun short gameplay, the basic concept is fun enough although there is nothing else to do after your first city is built

Civilation 5 is one of the best game i've ever play for this reasom i recomend it to you and its worth paying for the complete pack no matter what the prise this game will pay
