Not recommended due to very obvious performance issues. If you have a older card you will suffer.

This is easily the best monster hunter experience to date. It genuinely feels like a Monster Hunter World 3.0 version. So many quality of life improvements, smooth buttery combat, memorable moments and fights, and a lush life like world.

The core negative:

Performance issues. You will need a latest gen card and a decently modern cpu for this game.

The minor negatives:

Denovo day 1 + Capcom DRM

Removal of previous food systems in place of something that doesn't feel as good.

Multiplayer menu / joining choices are a bit confusing and over engineered.

(Some) odd in-game config choices left on by default.

If they ever fix the performance issues then I cannot recommend this game enough to anyone who even has the slightest interest in monster hunter series. It is such a big improvement over the MH: World and even more than MH: Rise. Wait for performance fixes, then a must buy.

There is a lot wrong with Palworld.

Base building feels lack luster
Messy tech tree where you where just skip entire row's worth of stuff
Odd design choices like schematics
Many parts of the world look rushed and forgotten about

Yet despite all that I still highly recommend it for the core aspect. {COPYRIGHT WORD} with a fresh coat of paint. Huge world to explore, constant stream of things to do, and {COPYRIGHT WORD} to collect. Also a big F to the man in Red who watches Palworld like a hawk, waiting to sue.

Arguably one of the best cleaner type games out there, even when compared to Power Washer Simulator. Great locations, game mechanics, great all around. My only wish is I want more. More locations

I've always wanted to write a review about this god forsaken game. I started from the very early days of the beta. Did comp, placed diamond and hit GM and eventually settled back into potato. 2700+ hours on bnet. Before I even list of the sheer amount of negative points, the #1 question I get is:

"if you hate it, why do you still play?" Quite simple, I'm an idiot who likes support alittle too much. Not very many games come close to that support gameplay. Off the top of my head Hirez's Paladins gets a few notes but is very lackluster. Plus, its Hirez.

#1 I'm going to try and keep it short. What was once free, became pay. Overwatch 1, you can eventually get any skin in the game. Do lootboxes suck? Of course, but they made it to where it was still atleast possible to get the skins you wanted. Now, in Overwatch 2, is $80+ for a skin (Mythic Quality). Do I want lootboxes back? God no, but atleast have the player earn a skin through time.

#2 Speaking of skins, there are like 4 or 5 currencies in the game now. It honestly feels like a mobile game at this point. I believe there are Legacy Credits, Overwatch Coins, Mythic Credits, League Tokens, Comp Points, This is specifically designed to obfuscate the user's ability to tell what all they can purchase at any given moment and instead just rely on purchasing through actually cash. Its scummy and anti consumer

#3 Terrible game balance. Activision Blizzard is pretty much the king of this. Buff a hero so hard they dominate your next 100 games. Or nerf to the point people will actually, report you for playing them. Stale and forced metas often become dominate around these nerfs/buffs.

#4 Overwatch 2's entire purpose was for macrotransactions. Everything else they listed was either a lie or a minor engine tweak.

#5 AB killed their Esports division because it wasn't making them trillions of dollars. Overwatch was one of the few games I actually enjoyed the comp scene but like everything good, AB needs to kill and drink its blood to give Bobby eternal life.

I could honestly go on for hours and rant like an angry gamer. But instead i'll stop here and spare you. This is not a good game, not anymore atleast. Anything positive you heard about Overwatch died later in Overwatch 1's life cycle. Thanks Bobby, you're such a swell guy. I'll see you in hell

A frustrating split decision between yes and no. Ultimately I decided with no because of just how much content is missing from the base game. I do not mean some of the additional furniture / decorating options from the DLC in HF1. There is just a staggering low amount of base stuff in HF2's current state. To me this is my biggest gripe, however there is more to this than just missing content.

These are what I consider minor negative points. Things like, lighting issues. Sometimes lights fail to realize their potential and just stop glowing. Other times they shine so bright that I'm surprised the house doesn't catch on fire from 3.828×10^26 luminescence burning all those who cast their thoughts upon it.

Another minor thing is how some mission/stories (What ever you wish to call them) feel abandoned half way. Some houses generally ask you to build something for them -- only to leave it unpainted or unfinished. Did they run out of money? If so thats pretty realistic then but since this is about house improvement I'm going with no. The devs simply forgot to ask for it to be finished.

The perk system just feels half hearted and empty. Some categories only have just a few options (If I recall HF1 was also like this). What is the point in earning 8 points to pick 3 total perks? Either redo the system completely so you earn 1 point and choose out of all categories, or add more meaningful perks.

So here is what I'm hoping for to turn this from a no, to a overwhelming yes.

Triple the base content. That is a lot to ask for, I am aware. Modelers, animators, texture artists aren't free. But releasing a second version of a game with even less content than the first is a slap in the face at this point

Go through and give some missions a second glace.

Typical bug fixing which is bound to happen but figured I might as well list it.

Adjust or out right redo the perk system

Then and only then, open the flood gates of DLC and just go nuts on actual additional content. HF2 does so much right over HF2. The new tools are honestly the best part. Being able to actually copy styles and paste them is just, mmmffh, chefs kiss right there. Being able to build from the ground up and demolish entire parts. Beautiful.

So much going for it just needs a helping step. Only then can it take EA's face and ram into the ground. Knocking the Sim's series of building off a peg or two.

With each update the game becomes more and more addicting. That vampire survivors feel of being overpowered with a fresh coat of paint and a lot of fantasy leeway into playing how you want.

Rough launch, countless gameplay bugs, confusing in-game stats that often lack meaningful numbers, constant public lobbies kicking and team killing

And yet I would still strongly recommend it. Unless something catastrophic happens that fundamentally changes the game in a negative way -- I will continue being addicted to Helldivers 2,

Very addicting vampire / base building / crafting / RPG all in one package. Exploring feels extremely rewarding as well as just sitting back and doing mindless resource farming.

Minor con, wish you could pause in singleplayer

Beat it in 19 hours. A great all arounder, chill idler. Would like to see more to do after "endgame" (Get fancy stuff but never used it). Overall a really enjoyable experience.

Minor nitpicks:

Some very minor bugs that force you to reload the world in order to fix

Endgame you get access to fancy stuff, but no point in using it since Endgame is also: end - the - game

Not quite sure what the point of farming was. I never used it and was still able to beat the game without it

Gameplay pace felt a bit weird at certain points. I think I sunk the most time in midgame just working on collecting resources I needed and then suddenly I was endgame.

Some achievements appeared to be bugged
