It's pretty fun. The season pass / microtransactions are for cosmetics only. Not perfectly balanced right now but it's literally version 0.1 in early access; I'm happy with what I'm seeing.

Right now, multiplayer is very strong, so solo play probably doesn't feel as good. This is definitely a game to play with your friends on Discord. There's not a lot of coordination required, but there's enough that you can step on each others' feet if you don't know what people are planning.

Loved Monster Train, and I can tell this has the same solid bones.

If you like cyberpunk, you're going to love 2077 of them.

It's pretty good!

It's real good. Swords, spears, bows, guns, shields, fists - there are tons of different playstyles and they're all viable. Art, music, story, combat are all top notch. Supergiant knocks it out of the part again.

Edit: Unfortunately, one of the updateshas broken the player viewmodel so it doesn't face the direction of movement, and it also doesn't let you reorient the direction of any charge attacks after clicking LMB. This is most detrimental for the shield, because now I can't turn it to block other bullets.

Sucks. 6 months of being unable to play the game.

Slow and boring. Definitely not worth full price. An awesome concept dragged down by poor game design and little variety between the non-Goo races.

An outstanding open-world game with plenty of audio bonuses to bilingual speakers. Fun combat, plenty of optional collectibles, and an engaging story. Easily over $20 of entertainment now, especially with all the DLC. Stock campaign is about as serious as GTA, but the DLC expansions take it to Saints-Row level debauchery. One of my favourite games of all time.
