Very good story. Worth the price.

First of all, I only played on PC, so "The Alchemist of Arland - DX" is my 2nd atelier series that i played, my first one is Mysterious series because it came out first in steam.
If you played Atelier Sophie first before Atelier Rorona, Rorona seems really simple and you might find it less challenging.
I personally find it simpleness is what makes it fun, from the story, the assignment, the quest, and the synthesis is simple and easy to understand. The interaction between Rorona and other character is funny and pure gold.
If you are newcomer in atelier series, i recommend you to play Aterlier Rorona and the rest of The Alchemist of Arland series as your first game.
While it is a fun game, there is one serious issue with the game itself, LAG. Yes, it is really annoying that everytimes i open menu, assignment, shop, and other interfaces it will lag for like 2 seconds and more than 5 seconds for assignment.

Even with the lag, i still recommend you to play this game. It's different from other action jrpg where you are the main character who want to save the world or something heroic thing, Atelier series is just a fun and relaxing slice of life genre with synthesis mechanism as it main feature.
