UPDATE ON REVIEW

It has been about a month since my original review however the issues have merely shifted, if not, gotten worse. New patches fix one thing and break ten more things. While the developers do communicate, this communication is utterly pointless and just frustrating if they say they "know [they] can do better and will continue improve" only to double down on releasing broken content that any sane individual would immediately see by just playing a single game. The comments from the developer and CEO make me think they are talking about a completely different game, and that they are entirely out of touch with players.

Conclusion, the game was fun on release, but the developers seem to have taken the initial success for granted and gone on a power trip since, running their own game into the ground.

ORIGINAL REVIEW - not recommended

I really want to recommend this game but the constant crashes just absolutely suck all the fun out of it. There is no worse feeling than spending 30 minutes on a mission only to crash in the last two minutes while your waiting for extraction.

If the developers ever see this review, please focus on making the game more stable instead of rushing to release new content that has obviously not been properly tested and makes the game less playable. At the very least, consider adding a rejoin last game button to allow people to potentially recover from crashes.

I initially thoroughly enjoy the game but huge surge in crashes experienced by myself and many other people I have played with since the last few updates will kill this game faster than a break in new content if these are not addressed.

Game needs some bad RNG protection for ranking;
Went from 13k to 5.8k in just three games due to bad RNG, two of the games I didn't even get to play, I was eliminated turn 0, other was almost as bad.
You should not lose ranking for bad RNG like this!

Losing games gives you more experience and 90% of games past lead dungeon is the same mirror towers meaning the entire game come down to the fastest clicker on round 26.

There are other MMOs?

My favourite rogue-lite game.

Monkey alone - Weak
Monkey together - Still kinda weak
Monkey committing multiple war crimes - poggers dude

It's OpenTTD but on steam.

A very beautiful game, I wanted to take a screenshot almost every sunset.
It is extremely well polished for an early access game and runs very well on my system (100+fps average) and haven't encountered any bugs/crashes so far :D

Only thing I would say is that if you get a bad starter system, you may 10hrs in already and not want to restart. My starter system was certainly below average compared to others I have seen but it hasn't made it impossible to play, just slower.

It's a game where you drive trucks...

I honestly played this until 5 am and didn't even realise.
