This is one of the better games in the survivors genre. At the price it's at there is no reason not to try it.

♥♥♥♥ me. Another console game with no real 'quit' button. You must first leave to the menu and then quit before exiting. If you press alt+F4 instead then next time you open it MUST send a crash report (which takes longer). If you cancel the crash report it cannot open the game.... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we went back 20 years in time ladies and gentlemen.

RNG fiesta. Get to the final boss with half a deck full of defensive cards just to draw exactly zero when the boss is about to one-shot you. Ragequit.

But you'll be back in an hour. Very addictive game.

Such a big game with so many interesting things to do and ways to play. Only 80 hours in but will probably reach 200+ hours easily.

There is nothing more frustrating than a developer wasting your time in an otherwise good game. Every menu animation is stretched 5-20 sec. When I lose because I just had a terrible round, I just want to go again. Instead I have to sit through multiple glorified loading screens, slowly waiting for animations before I can go again. This is a 2D game with tech from over 20 years ago, there is simply no reason why menu's and loading screens can't be instant.

Great world building and atmosphere but ridiculously bad writing, everyone in the castle is your BFF and gives you compliments all day every day. Also you are the chosen one and have to fight the dark lord and his minions #boringplot. Combat is fun but you have to play on hard or you'll fall asleep. Overall a a very game and could've been so much more.

In my opinion this is the best "survivors" game because it has actual meaningful diccision making during your run, whilst other games in the genre often have one obvious pick.

Great game with an interesting challenge. Not only do you think about your current run but also about the next runs that are coming.

However, after you've beaten the game there is very little reason to keep playing.

I really want to like this but I just can't. Everything about it is great, except the combat and I just can't seem to get over thatr. I hate turn-based so I don't play turn-based. Hower what remains is a lot of jank in an over-the-top RNG fiesta.

The first game in a long while the refuses to start on my main screen. I literally have to unplug my other 2 monitors as it goes to my 2nd and 3rd monitor before my main screen. Extremely annoying and just amateuristic for any developer in 2022.

The gameplay isn't bad but the amount of garbage in the cashshop makes it feel like some kind of mobile game.
