Left 4 Dead 2 is my favorite game of all time, and the G.O.A.T. Nothing else on the market can match the quality, level of detail, and fun, replayable gameplay L4D2 offers. L4D2 was built to last, and even 14+ years later, people still are introduced to the game, or old players return to re-live this gem of Valve's roster of games. It's the most replayable Valve game, in my opinion.

Mods! Some people dislike modding their games for various reasons: from distaste to thinking they ruin the developer's original intent, L4D2 was one of the ground zero sites for the Steam Workshop and arguably the most populated workshop on Steam itself alongside Garry's Mod. Hundreds of mods are still being published to this day, and there's a decade's worth of user-made content to pick from if you don't like the newer stuff; I believe that L4D2's workshop plays a significant role in keeping the game alive for all these years, and allows the mind to go wild with that you can do to the game. You can absolutely ruin the game with them, though, so don't get carried away with the workshop, yeah? Otherwise, your storage will suffer for it.

Overall, this is one of the gaming industry's finest and most well-crafted masterpieces you can find; buy it when it goes on sale... or don't! It's well worth the 20 USD price tag. Let's keep killing zombies for years to come!
