Most of the negative reviews are for the typical day 1 launch issues, especially server crowding/queuing as this game relies heavily on streaming data.

Once you're actually able to get into the game, it's wonderful and a very welcomed iteration to MSFS 2020, with career mode and missions, which give you more reason to play the game than to just wanderlessly fly around.

Have been enjoying it very much so far! Performance is on par, if not better than MSFS 2020, and this is the case for VR as well.

With MSFS 2020, I would often get crashes or only 20-30 fps in VR. With MSFS 2024, not only am I getting MUCH better graphics, but also getting (enjoyably) playable frame rates (again, in VR).

Lots of negative reviews about loading into the game, but once you're in, it's a great experience. I imagine as time goes on and as MS can iron out some issues, it'll be a great game.

This game is a very addicting game. I am somewhat surprised this game is free, because I would easily pay 5 or even 10$ for it. It has a familiar feel of TF2, but with a older Western feel. Your first game might be a little bit confusing, especially if you join a crappy server. Shootout is the first game that I joined, and I started feeling the game after my 3rd/4th game. I also suggest messing around with your FoF / crosshair settings before getting into the game. Just in general, double check the settings just to be sure everything works best for you. There are some weird default settings that you might want to change. Another tip, B is the menu that you open to change weapons. Other than that, this game is a really good catch, give it a try. I guarentee you can afford it; money back guarentee.

Let alone it also has a multiplayer mode which is a nice addition. You really feel Laura's situation as the story progresses which I find gives the game a rich feel. The only con about this game would be that the game's direction may feel a little bit unclear at times. Other than that, it is VERY worth the money!
