Most of the negative reviews are for the typical day 1 launch issues, especially server crowding/queuing as this game relies heavily on streaming data.

Once you're actually able to get into the game, it's wonderful and a very welcomed iteration to MSFS 2020, with career mode and missions, which give you more reason to play the game than to just wanderlessly fly around.

Have been enjoying it very much so far! Performance is on par, if not better than MSFS 2020, and this is the case for VR as well.

With MSFS 2020, I would often get crashes or only 20-30 fps in VR. With MSFS 2024, not only am I getting MUCH better graphics, but also getting (enjoyably) playable frame rates (again, in VR).

Lots of negative reviews about loading into the game, but once you're in, it's a great experience. I imagine as time goes on and as MS can iron out some issues, it'll be a great game.
