Okay so how do you even rate a game like this? The game is kind of all you need in an MMO RPG and is also the only truly RPG game in the genre as you can be whatever you want and you build your character according to what you want to do.

Your actions have an impact on the game, major or minor. A war can lead to billions of isk lost or won, and can change the political situation on the map. Mining leads into reprocessing -> manufacturing -> selling which changes the market prices and so on... even if your actions are very minor, they will in some form make a difference in the bigger picture

Now, onto how enjoyable the game is. This is a hard thing to rate. Is everything fun? Not by a longshot. You really need to try some boring stuff yo be able to find something you like to do. For a good amount of my time, I've been intocthe industrial side of things. mining, reprocessing and producing materials etc. and I've quite enjoyed it, getting myself a station of my own and everything.
However. I've recently branched out to try new things and stumbled upon a playstyle that has really changed my playstyle, maybe forever.

Wormhole nomading. Flying into a wormhole, traveling until I find a good one, setting up a small POS there, using an Orca as my mobile base. Just flying around, exploring, gas huffing, doing data/relic sites and some PvE/PvP. It changed my whole perspective on the game, abd I doubt I'll change playstyle in a while.

Overall I'd say this is an amazing game if you have some patience. The start is slow, and Skills will prevent you from going further into the game, so you need to use a ton of time to unlock most things. However, if you're able to get through the time needed, doing what you can and going further as your skills improve, then the game starts to show it's true charm and beauty.

Gameplay - 10/10 basically unlimited
Sound design - 8/10 great sounds and music
Timesink - 10/10 you'll need a ton of time (afk included)
Fun - 8/10 It is very much a game that is as fun as you let it be
Overall - 9/10 I think the game is amazing and good value for the money (you don't even need to pay. Alpha still has good amounts of gameplay, but Omega opens up even more). But I would advise you to buy Plex/Omega on sale as it will greatly reduce the cost of the game :)

This is one of the best RTS games you can get, and is well worth the price. It takes some time to get the hang of it, but when you do, it's an amazing game. Fun when playing alone, but better with friends :) Not getting full score because of the lack of optimization in the late-game (laggy)

CONS:
Shold have at least 16gb RAM (having texture glitch at 8gb, so upgrading as soon as possible)
DONT USE HARD DRIVE!
