This has been one of my most anticipated games of this whole year and it really kept that hype for me.

For people who love the satisfaction of organizing rooms and putting things in it's place, it hits that itch with so much depth. The gameplay is very simple and easy to pick up, but the audio design really helps elevate the whole experience. Every item in the game has multiple sounds that react to different surfaces. I've figured out items I couldn't piece together based on the sound it mad when I put it on a counter.

Something important I want to highlight based on other reviews
A lot of people have shown frustrations about the placement requirement for all the items. To me i see this as it's story mode, as this requirement has helped contribute to the story telling of the whole game. To many other people however, this makes the game much harder, much more frustrating, and hard to understand the dev's ideas on what should and shouldn't be placed.

To this, there is a workaround in the accessibility options. An option to allow items anywhere. Want to be that person to put a toaster in the bedroom? Wanted to show off that brush on the sink instead of the drawer? Just that one option to allow items everywhere fixes that and lets you enjoy the game in a sandbox mode. I hope that this helps people pick up the game if that feature was a dealbreaker.

TL;DR

This game is amazing and can be enjoyed with and without the required item placements, so please give this labor of love from a family dev team a chance.
