I played this game exclusively in VR with the UEVR tool and I feel it has some very unique moments. My favorite part was likely the supermassive black holes you can visit and the high voltage area with the switch that plays an incredible background track combined with trippy visuals. I want to see more effective use of music and visuals like in that high voltage area. I think the devs could do something similar with a space-related scene and similar soundtrack in a future update. In general I think there should be a few more things to do, but I did enjoy the game enough to keep it. The price is very fair and hopefully we see some additional stunning areas in future updates. I played for a little over an hour so far (was in offline mode).

Let's be honest, there are hundreds of meditative/dreamlike/trippy-esque titles scattered all throughout Steam. HOWEVER. This game is the real deal. I'm running this on an RTX 4090 and let me tell you, this game REALLY affected me in positive ways. The background music isn't too overpowering and suits each scene extremely well. I found myself in awe just staring up or around each scene as it opened (with many rooms beginning to slowly light up). It's so zen and breathtaking at the same time. I RARELY leave reviews, but this was the game I was looking for, which is currently a couple of bucks. You cannot beat that. Seriously blown away, so kudos to the devs on this masterpiece. (Ignore the playtime, as I mostly play this offline)

I installed this along with the Half-Life 2 VR Essentials Modpack and was blown away when I selected Nightmare House 1 Remake, a Resident Evil Map, and then later on I tested out Lost Coast (which I had completely forgotten about). This mod is so incredibly polished that it brings it to near HL Alyx level (especially with the Essentials Modpack). It feels so much more open than Alyx did, and you really feel like you're actually there. My only question is why the hell didn't Valve make a VR mod themselves? I honestly don't even think that Valve could have made the experience as polished as this mod is.

For the devs: I ran into an error when starting up the game (the game crashes in VR or Non-VR), which reads: "LowLevelFatalError" and mentions D3D12Util.cpp Line 868, currentqueue.device->getdevice()->Getdeviceremovereason() failed at D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RH\Private\D3D12Submission.cpp:910 with error 887A0006.

The strange thing is that initially the game worked fine, and was enjoying the glow of the city lights and interesting music. Please fix this issue ASAP!

This is incredibly relaxing at night to explore around the waterfalls, rivers, beaches, etc. For a free game I thought this was incredible. Please make more of these with maybe more orbs I can click on to explore even further (I realize time is money, so perhaps a DLC).

Devs, please improve the throwing mechanic! Otherwise this game is a blast, as it's the only game I've seen with the precise slicing of enemies and objects (as in you are able to slice with near exact precision through enemies/objects and watch them/it fall apart). The "force" mechanic is really fun throwing enemies or objects around as well.

It's hard to explain, but when you are able to precision slice through enemies it becomes more satisfying than Vader Immortal. The problem is that this doesn't have the AAA level of funding behind it so you basically make your own fun (almost like a sandbox with auto generated enemies).

Overall it's worth it if you can find it on sale around the $10 level. Seems like a nice title to show to friends/family who are new to VR.

My wife is mostly uninterested in VR gaming, but somehow THIS was the game that got her hooked. It's honestly the best VR air hockey game I've found thus far, which is due to its fun factor and tropical setting. The pusher and pucks will change based on a special bonus coin that appears on the board. Sometimes pineapples or coconuts will pile onto the board as obstacles (at least in "fun" mode). There are normal modes as well if you prefer a more serious match (I don't). It's brilliantly simple and addictive. Seriously, this is one of my favorite VR games.

With respect to the devs, I really wanted to enjoy this game, but unfortunately it feels like a video playing that didn't really appeal to me. It felt like it was trying to make the viewer emotional and/or relaxed with the whispery voice and scenery, but it didn't work for me. I found myself skipping through, with maybe a couple of moments in awe, but not enough to justify the price.

There is possibility that for a few bucks a person new to VR MIGHT be a bit amazed, but lets just say that Vacation Simulator had a more positive/enlightening effect than this would ever have.

Pros: Stunning atmosphere, uniquely interactive objects and rewarding extras just for exploring around. I personally loved the narration.
Cons: The stealth approach (early in the game) is irritating because it doesn't usually work how you want. Bashing a creature in the head 15 times should kill it.

This game really showcases the Unreal 4 engine properly. People don't seem to properly appreciate the environmental sounds and misc noises lovingly placed throughout the game. The game scared the living hell out of me (haven't finished it) AND made me laugh multiple times (the doll), which is tough to pull off on a Silent Hill-esque game. I don't know how these spoiled brats crap all over this game when they only spent a dollar for it in a bundle. Hopefully the devs will improve the game based on constructive criticism and ignore the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Newer generations typically won't appreciate the original Fallouts due to their dated graphics. There's something about Fallout 1 & 2 that Bethesda can't seem to replicate (although Obsidian did a great job with New Vegas). The grungy environment and original plot elements (instead of searching for your son/Dad) keep you constantly intrigued and/or amused with each twist and turn. Fallout 4 can't hold a candle to Fallout 1 or 2 because of one word. Replayability.

The cult fanbase is well deserved, and even to this day there are total conversion mods being made for Fallout 2. Make sure to try out Fallout Resurrection and Fallout FIXT mods, or you'll be missing out.
